Wack job was too light of a word to use to describe the situation laid out before her. "Yeah, well against my better judgement I thought I'd try to convince you one more time. " That little voice still nagged at the back of her mind that this idea was really bad, and then there was Dean. She should have asked him along, but he had his own thing to deal with. The whole..Jedi whatever he was. How could she ask him when she couldn't even find him?
She could handle herself in a normal situation. She didn't need anyone's help, though she wouldn't be adverse to her partner making an awesome entrance about now. She'd never admit it out loud but as hard ass and anal as Carlton could be, she missed him and his off color advice. Okay maybe not so much the advice part since that tended to involve more questions then real answers, but the guns. All his guns were a plus, and she would have felt more confident if she had him and his six guns on his person standing beside her.
"I did yes. But she should be with you. " Juliet was firm and unwavering. Her face rarely showing an emotional break in that stony look she put on to try and support her strength. She wasn't sure she believed anything Quinn said at the moment, but still the cop in her had to try. She couldn't just turn the kid over to Protective Services without at least attempting to get the mother back. And not insane.
"Can you read, I already said no. But if I have to protect myself I will shoot you. I'm not going to have to am I Quinn?" Typical cop reply. "Do I have to drag you back or are you gonna come on your own?"
