Siri couldn't really remember the last time she was truly taken aback by something. Even when she couldn't sense things clearly, the Force still tended to warn her when something was about to happen, even vaguely. Now that it had been ripped away from her, though, she was kind of surprised when Anakin called out, quietly, from the rooftop entrance to the garden. She had been so lost in thought, watching the sky turn slowly darker, so off in her own mental world, that she hadn't heard the door open at all, and when he called out to apologize, she jumped slightly, scrambling into a sitting position quickly and her gaze whipping toward the door while she tried to make out who was standing there. It only took her a second before she recognized him, physically, his Force presence lost to her but his appearance familiar.
"Wait." Pushing herself to her feet and facing him, Siri looked over Anakin Solo carefully. She was a little uncomfortable - she was always uncomfortable now - being unable to judge whether or not he was safe, but she had seen enough on the boards and had sensed enough before the power swap that she knew he was one of the few Force users here whom she felt like she had something in common with. Anakin, at least, seemed to value the Code - or at least the strange, warped version of the Code that the Jedi followed in her future. He seemed to have right intentions and a strong resolve, and Siri had attempted to make contact with him before, to talk to him. The attempt seemed to have failed, but she had just assumed it was because he was just as wary of other people here as Siri herself was. Still, she still wanted to talk to him a little bit now, now that he was here.
"Wait," she repeated, more openly, taking a step toward him, "It's fine. You're the other Solo kid." It wasn't a question, Siri knew without a shadow of a doubt who he was. It was just her way of letting him know that she knew who he was. The other Solo kid. It was a characteristic greeting for Siri Tachi, clipped and straightforward, but even she was surprised by the way the acknowledgment had come out. You're Anakin Solo probably would've been more apropos, but even now, even here, with everything she had learned, it sounded strange. She knew an Anakin. And she knew that this Anakin was named after him. Though she was usually quick to adapt, that was one thing she still hadn't gotten used to: the different timelines. Still, she tried to remain open, so that Anakin could see she wasn't really a threat. "We've spoken, on the boards, a few times."
