Since the discussion with Jacen, both in person and on the boards Anakin Solo had a lot on his mind. Very little of it was good. First there was his father, then his siblings, Tahiri, Chewie, his mind was a mess. Whenever his mind became messy there was one place he always went. Only one that could properly clear it. He wasn't sure why it was that way, maybe because River had told him that when he first arrived. He trusted River almost instantly. When she spoke, her words were truth. Not false white lies meant to sugar coat and spare feelings, or hide stories. They were clear, and that was what Anakin had desperately needed at the time, so he felt like the garden was a place of truth. A place where he didn't have to hide himself, so it became his favorite place.
Even with all the junk yards and all the options the city had to offer for quiet places, he found himself returning to that garden when he needed space. He had his family sure, but he didn't always know how to talk to them. Creeper was a basil, but he felt fine sitting on that rooftop garden quietly releasing his emotion. Letting go. He desperately needed to let go. He was supposed to be looking for Dean, but with everything clogging up his thought process he wasn't capable of keeping his senses open. He needed to help Sam. He knew what it was like to have a family torn apart by darkness, and Sam didn't deserve it.
Then there was his father and Chewie. Chewie had died saving him. Anakin was afraid. Jedi Knights were not supposed to be afraid. Fear lead to the dark side, and Anakin refused to let it touch him. Refused to give in. At the same time, he missed the wookie, and he knew if his father found out what had happened there was a risk that he could be hated and Han could leave again. His mother didn't deserve that. He was once again afraid for her. Fear wasn't an experience Anakin was used to. He was used to being confident. He'd had the Force strong with him since he could remember, he was good at almost everything he put energy into trying. But everything on this planet was hard.
Adjusting after death was difficult. Anakin had become one with the Force when he died, he remembered feeling warm and at peace, to suddenly have it torn away from him was almost cruel in his eyes. To have to live again in a world where he felt so detached from his family was almost too much for him to bare at times.
Lastly there was Tahiri. Jacen had manipulated her after he told her to watch out for her. After he'd told him to kiss her for him. He'd meant to say protect her, but it came out strangely in dying. Words didn't always make sense. He missed her badly. Wished to see her again and to go back to Yavin 4 in hopes she would still be there, but he was stuck on Earth. Fighting another war and one that wasn't even his.
When Anakin reached the roof, he felt a presence. It wasn't a Force presence because Siri had shut herself down but it was a person. One who wasn't River, and he immediately knew he'd interrupted someone. "..Sorry, I'll come back later. " He stated and started to back toward the roof access door again.
