Even with so many eyes in the Jedi Order, it could be possible to slip things past so many. Too many loopholes, too many tricks that could be used. Luke did take that in, knowing that such a scenario was the only way that a Purge could have happened. But when Siri quoted Yoda, Luke couldn't help but to smile and laugh even, remembering the cadence the Jedi Master had. "Those words are very true." He shook his head a bit, the smile still on his face. Yoda was indeed quite the character. R2D2 had not liked him at first and the two had fought a bit, but Yoda was very wise. Once Luke had been able to reel in his temper long enough to learn, he saw how wise Yoda was.
The laughter from Siri was a little unexpected, but Luke's smile widened. It was hard for him to read her physical reactions. She seemed to be so in control of herself, perhaps even a little distant, but it was good to see the laugh and smile. He couldn't help but think Siri was a bit like Leia in how she kept her emotions under control. Or at least, that's the connection he made in the time they'd been sitting here talking. "Yes, I know. One would expect a little more from a Jedi Master, wouldn't they?" Luke chuckled, knowing Obi-Wan didn't just choose things for the sake of it. He had been in hiding after all and couldn't call attention to himself. Luke understood that.
When the softness and fondness left Siri's eyes, Luke drew in a breath and gave her a nod. "You're welcome. I'm glad I could give you that, at least." He didn't know Obi-Wan as long as Siri had, but Luke had known him long enough to know he was a good man. And even after his death, he made his presence known. It was his guidance that had helped Luke destroy the Death Star. "I know. We could use him around here. No doubt he'd get everyone organized and all of the Force users here in line." Of course, his thoughts turned to Jacen, who was a Sith Lord, or former Sith Lord. Whatever he was, Luke was uneasy about him, especially with how Jacen reigned anger at him in the Force when he'd first arrived. No doubt Obi-Wan could put some order to Jacen if he were there. "It's okay, you did give me some answers. I just need to be patience and know there's things I won't be able to know unless the right people show up." Or Jacen could use that Flow Walk power and show him, but Luke wasn't about to accept anything from anyone that was affiliated with the Dark Side in any way.
