[OOC: I do apologize for my epic fail in tagging back. I had a couple days of brain farts and sleep deprivation, but it should be better now. <3 That and Luke is being difficult at the moment haha.]
True, age didn't always designate who was or wasn't capable of killing. In theory, anyone could kill if the circumstances were right. As much as learning his father had killed at such a young age was shocking, when Luke knew the man he would become it wasn't all that shocking. Even when Siri said Anakin had been within the Code for killing Krayn, Luke wasn't really assured. It was troubling to him to learn of his father. It wasn't so much what Anakin was capable of so much as the same blood ran in his veins and he really didn't want to fall. But he nodded a bit, showing he understood what Siri told him. It would just take him a while to digest the information. Hearing about his father was no easy task.
Luke looked at Siri, listening as she spoke of the slavery. While he could understand not wanting to be subjected to a fate like slavery, the fact Anakin had killed Krayn made him feel a little uneasy, justified or not. "I admit I didn't expect that of him," he said after a moment. Then again, he didn't really know much of his father. After learning that Vader was his father, Luke couldn't help but question if anything Ben had ever said about Anakin had been true. Obi-Wan had his reasons for doing what he did, but Luke was finding it hard to justify why the man had said Anakin had been an honorable Jedi, when it had been quite the opposite. It was very hard for him to reconcile the whole image of Darth Vader with Anakin the Jedi. He took a deep breath and scratched his head a bit, mussing his hair up a bit. What Siri told him did give him a few answers, but it also opened up new questions, which he didn't exactly need right now. He needed answers, not more questions.
"Strange isn't it, how we end up here?" It was a rhetorical question and Luke shook his head a bit. He was surprised that what Siri had just told him happened just before she appeared here. "Wow, that's really recent, more recent than I'd expected." But he didn't dwell on that subject too long. "A lot can definitely happen in ten years." But a lot can happen in a shorter period of time. He still didn't know what had happened in the year that currently separated him and Leia. But a lot had happened in just the three years since he'd joined the Rebellion. He looked at Siri, knowing he should offer up what he knew. "Thank you for telling me that, it does fill in a few blanks." He smiled gently, grateful to hear something about his father from someone that knew him before his fall. "I'm sure you have questions for me as well. Is there anything specific you'd like to know?"
