By the tone of her voice and body language, it was clear to Luke that his most burning questions would remain unanswered. It was a little difficult for him to accept, but he did. After all, he really would take anything he could learn. Luke did want to paint as complete a picture of Anakin Skywalker as he could, and Siri did hold some answers. He would just need to practice patience and perhaps sooner or later someone would show up here with the answers he longed for. But for now, he listened to Siri as she told him what she knew. So Anakin had been Obi-Wan's apprentice? That did actually give him some answers. The fact that Anakin was his father was undoubtedly the reason Obi-Wan wanted to train Luke, and even before then the Jedi Master had kept an eye on him.
As Siri told him of Anakin's impatience, Luke couldn't help but draw that parallel between them. Luke had inherited his impatience and temper from his father. This actually frightened him, and he did hope he'd never have to see his father. Not when he was like this. Luke was still very impetuous and immature. He was 22 and, like his father, had begun his Jedi training at a late age, though that mostly had been due to the fact Jedis had been outlawed in his time. Luke nodded, letting Siri know he was listening and understanding. He kept his gaze on her, wanting to get as much information from her as he could. But inwardly, he was freaking out a little bit. He needed to not be like his father, and actually be a Jedi, not a Sith. He would not fall to the Dark Side like his father.
"He killed someone?" Luke was surprised by that, especially with his father being so young at the time. This was troubling to know that even at a young age, Anakin had shown signs of his eventual fall. At least Luke hadn't killed anyone like that. Yes, he'd fought in the Rebellion and killed, even destroyed the Death Star, but that was war. Surely those deaths were justified and within the Jedi Code. "It would seem like they were right, considering what happened to him later on." Luke scratched his head a bit. "Was that when you saw him last?" He was curious to know if she'd talked to him anymore after they'd returned from the mission that seemed to have gone wrong.
