At her answer, Luke nodded a bit. He then settled himself into a chair. It was true, he wanted to know as much as she could tell him. He hoped she could give him some much needed answers about his father, though he wasn't exactly sure he wanted to know. The man that had once been Anakin Skywalker in his time had been little more than a tyrant. Luke harbored a hatred of Darth Vader, though it didn't run as deeply as his sister's. But to know that someone like Anakin could fall to the Dark Side, Luke feared making the same mistakes his father had. So he hoped that Siri had some sort of in sight into what his father had been like. Perhaps it would give him a clue as to what he could avoid doing so he could avoid falling into the same path.
He looked back at Siri as she watched him. While normally he might have felt weird that someone was looking at him like that, he didn't mind it right now. Perhaps she was comparing him to Anakin, or just sizing him up. He wasn't sure, but he didn't say anything on the mater.
As she explained about Anakin, Luke was a little disappointed that she had only met his father once. Perhaps he had been wrong about getting some answers. It was hard to glean enough about someone from just one meeting. Though she did have a point, Siri did seem to have the upperhand when it came to having actually met Anakin. No one else here had met him. Or at least not while he'd still been Anakin. "Oh, I see. What did you think of him?" It was a simple question on the surface, but to Luke, and undoubtedly Siri as well, it held more meaning. To one who fell to the Dark Side, surely there were signs early on that something was different about him. Luke only hoped that whatever had been different about Anakin he himself did not possess. More than anything, Luke did not want to fall to the Dark Side. He wanted to be a Jedi, to help restore the Order and return the Jedis from exile.
