It was hard to not notice the explosion of fighting that had erupted overnight in the complex. Luke had seen it on the boards, and while he had feelings on the matter, he just decided to stay out of it. He knew he could very well be lumped in with the rest of the Jedi in not being trustworthy, but he also wasn't a full Jedi yet. True, he did still have the powers there, he just didn't know how to use them all yet. For the meantime, he was going to remain in his apartment, but if things got really bad, he would leave and try to find somewhere else to stay. Though he'd leave that thinking for if, or when, that time came.
Luke's smile widened a little as Siri introduced herself. "It's nice to meet you, Siri." He still felt as though he should introduce himself, but she did obviously know who he was all ready. So he just let that one go. He then nodded at her question. "Yes, of course." He moved aside so she could enter. "Please, sit down. Can I get you anything? I don't have much in the way of food, but I have water and some other beverages." Luke was still getting used to these Earth drinks. Water was what he drank most, but he at least tried some soft drinks. They were strange tasting, much like the food here. But he found he didn't mind them. He just tended to miss the things he was familiar with.
As much as he wanted to just jump right into the conversation about filling in the blanks and so forth. But he felt as though he should at least let Siri settle in and make herself comfortable first. Luke was at least a gentleman, so he remained on his feet, waiting for a response before he acted. He'd also cleaned up his apartment, making it look presentable for a visitor. He'd also made himself presentable and not so scruffy or hermit-looking. Luke well knew he had been letting his appearance go while he'd been holed up in his apartment, but he did put effort in when he knew he'd interact with people.
