Han nodded. It wasn’t as if ignoring someone was the worst reaction to the news Leia had just told him about. “It’s got everything to do with this family business, doesn’t it?” He idly scratched at his head. “The kid cares a lot about you. Finding out that you’re his sister is bound to throw him for a loop.” Han gave a shrug.
Han reached for her hand, taking it into his own, significantly rougher and more calloused hand. It was a small, affectionate gesture. He had figured that a kiss would be too much too suddenly considering the delicate matter of their discussion. It didn’t exactly seem like the right time to wrap his arms around her and sweep her away with a grand kiss. “Least we’re together.” He suggested, perhaps a little lamely. Still, it’s what he was thinking. If he had to face a place like this on his own... Well, he could deal with it, but it was so much easier having people he trusted around him.
