Han put his hands squarely on his hips. Several vowel sounds escaped his mouth, but no words. Arguing was one of the things he could do best, but for some reason he found himself unable to respond to what Leia was telling him. It was hard to believe that a kid as good as Luke or Leia would wind up with Vader as a father. That kind of evil? Only some no-good creep would want to be a part of that.
“Force mumbo jumbo.” Han mumbled in a lowered voice mostly to himself, folding his arms across his chest. Wasn’t this just the perfect little cherry on top of the sundae? It was, however, mildly comforting to know that Luke was Leia’s brother. It kind of took the kid out of the running for Leia’s affection. That thought almost brought a self-assured smirk to his face.
“You’ve got one interesting family tree.” He sat back down, feeling a little resigned after his failed attempt at denying the truth. “Guess I’ve gotta come to terms with it whether I like it or not.”
