The Doctor watched as Romana ran her hand over the wood that covered the TARDIS's exterior, a slight grin tugging at the corner of his mouth. "I think I have the safe place covered," he said simply as he made his way to the door and opened it for the ginger woman.
And that was just like her, too, thinking of tea when she saw the TARDIS. "Fine, fine, I'll make you some tea," he added, following her inside to fetch the things he needed. He wondered what all she could need to tell him. Though, really, it had been more years than he would like to admit since he had last seen the Time Lady. And there was no telling how long she had been in this city.
Which again brought him around to wondering why he had landed in this place.
