When Booth received Sweets phone call, he almost thought it was someone's bad idea of a practical joke. The vice on the other side was panicked. Booth wasn't used to hearing the young man so upset so he played it off like his own bad idea of a joke. Of course he'd initially recognized him, but again it was a case of Seeley's doubt and uncertainty. He hadn't been sure that he'd ever see Sweets again, or Hodgins for that matter. Though he should have known by now that the seals were unpredictable, it just didn't register to him. He was arriving at the Farmer's Market virtually blind. He didn't know what condition Sweets was going to be in, or if it was the Angels playing a joke on him, so he was cautious. And armed. Heavily armed.
Maybe it was a little over kill, but he didn't know what he was walking into, and he'd seen the future. It wasn't pretty. He knew he had to be ready at any time for something to go awry. Sweets had said that someone was trying to kill him, so Booth was on high alert. He knew that he was going to have a million questions on his hands, and that Sweets wasn't going to believe any of the answers he had to offer. It was going to be a long night.
Seeley parked his crossover infront of the Farmer's market with it's trademark siren blaring. Red and blue lights lighting up the street of the market place. He climbed out of the car and started to look for Sweets with his gun drawn and tucked in close.
