Who: Beru and Luke What: Luke meeting his aunt and getting her to safety. When: Yesterday evening Where: Library, then back to the complex Rating: Pretty tame
Luke had only started to get used to the idea that people here were brought from various times, but for some reason knowing his aunt was here, and being much younger than she had been when he'd last seen her, threw him off. Of course, part of him was really glad she was here and alive, but another part of him was weirded out by it. To her, he must still be a baby not a grown man training to be a Jedi. He did dread explaining things to her, of what had happened to her, but that would not be a conversation for tonight. Not if he could avoid it. It was going to be hard enough explaining this world to her, and how people were here from their universe from different times, let alone people from other universes.
After Beru gave him the address of the library, he got ready and headed out of the complex. He carried his lightsaber, concealed of course, just in case he ran into trouble. But it was uneventful, aside from passing some people on the street. When he got to the library, it wasn't that hard to pick Beru out. She was waiting in front of it as she said she would. Even though she was very young, he still recognized her. Taking a deep breath, he walked up to her, smiling a bit. "Hi, Aunt Beru. It's me, Luke." He wanted to hug her, just to be sure she was actually real, but he did think it would be just a little strange to her. So he stood there a little awkwardly, much like a child would when they weren't sure if they were doing the right thing or not.
