Zuko noticed the other man automatically. It was prudent to be aware of your surroundings. He'd learned this at a young age and still used it to this day. Zuko wasn't taking anything lightly in this situation. This could be some odd way of trying to overthrow him. Maybe this was all Azula's doing? Zuko wouldn't put this past her, but then again....Azula probably would have killed him before dumping him somewhere like this. It was cruel that whever he was now was so cold. Zuko noticed the way the man seemed to look at him as if he were strange. It was strange, Zuko was sure, that he were wearing so little in such a cold.
If he hadn't been stolen from his bed, well, he wouldn't be here in the first place, but that was beside the point. Zuko paused in his walking as the man held up a cautious hand and addressed him. Zuko didn't completely relax, though he relaxed his fighting stance. He was still ready to spring in a moment if necessary. He could spring into a physical fight or into bending depending on what the situation would call for. "Yes I am, maybe you can help me. I am Fire Lord Zuko and I need to return to the Fire Nation. Where am I?" He didn't want to say too much. This man could be an enemy. It was hard to tell as of yet. Zuko could show no weakness, though. He had to suppress the shiver that ran up his spine from the cold. He tried to continue to breathe, the smoke continuing to drive out of his nose.
"Extra clothing would be appreciated," Zuko nodded appreciatively. He had to find out all that he could before he got home. If he left his post for too long some might get antsy. He didn't want there to be a fight over his throne. How much could he ask, he wondered...
