Who:Anakin Solo and Leia.
What: rooftop meditation or an attempt anyway
When: late night.
Where: complex rooftop
Warnings: none so far.
It was one of those situations he wasn't good at again. Waiting. Jedi didn't sit passively by and wait for events to unfold. They made things happen. But here they were, doing exactly that and it was more then frustrating. Control..He thought mentally. It was all right for him to hold emotions, but he knew he had to also let them go. And so that's what he was trying to accomplish by leaving Jania's place. Daisy had stirred when Anakin left for the rooftop garden that River had described to him. He stepped softly past Leia in attempt not to wake her -though part of him was still fairly certain that she knew of his absence despite his silent movement.
He didn't know his way around the complex just yet, so finding the garden had proven to be a little more difficult then he would have liked. It was a trying day all around for Anakin Solo. He'd tried to fix Jania's coffee machine, but the flimsy earth tech only refused his frustrated and forceful movements, he feared he'd only broken it further when he got fed up and quit; throwing it to the ground. But they had bigger problems to focus on. They should have been devising a plan and going to the rescue of his sister, or at the very least he should have been given answers to his questions. He had so many questions.
What had become of Tahiri? Why would no one tell him? Not even Tenel Ka, one of his few most trusted friends. Why would Jacen say so little? Everyone was walking so softly around him. And that food they were trying to shove down his throat only made things worse. He wasn't hungry, especially not for earth food. To be honest it creeped him out a little and tasted strange. Leia's cooking was more comforting then the others had been, it resembled what he was used too, even if it used Earth ingredients at least it made it more tolerable. Some Earth food had been all right, but adjusting wasn't a thing he was doing well at the moment.
It was late when he reached the complex garden on the top of the roof and he felt the warm air. It was nice and comforting. Anakin wasn't good at staying still and indoors when he felt something needed to be done, but with all eyes on him lately even his midnight Rendezvous to the garden were difficult. He doubted he would be able to sneak away from the complex without them noticing, so he did not push for once.
He was still wearing his Jedi robes. He hadn't found anything else comfortable enough for him to wear yet. It gave him a sense of normalcy that he desperately needed. His lightsaber was at his waist and revealed.
Everything about this planet was wrong. But he could not hold onto that emotion, so he simply sat at the very edge of the building and attempted to clear his mind. Slowly the night sky started to do the trick and Anakin felt reassured by it's warmth.
