Sherry had just gotten back from the store. She had an application, figuring being a clerk would probably be the furthest she could get from what her training was. Not to mention it would keep her out of trouble. Right now that's the last thing she wanted to, have Leon have to bail her out. The blond tossed her bag down, watching one of the flash drives skitter across the table. Snatching it up she fell to the couch turning it in her hand.
"And to think, I used to be the top of the food chain back home, all because of you." She meant the virus information the flash drive contained. "And here, I'm probably on par with them." She slipped it into the front pocket of the bag. Until she could get a terminal she knew would be secure enough she didn't want to risk seeing if she had the whole code for the virus or not. It wouldn't be the first time that happened after all. She knew that her guest would be there soon. It would give her more of an idea on what she was dealing with, and probably prevent her from making an ass out of herself again. Snatching up the bag she made sure the flash drive stayed buried inside. The bag itself got stuffed into the closet until after her lessons. She'd fill out the application and get it back to the manager as soon as she could. Walking over to the fridge she snagged a juice, popping it open.
I'm not going to be useless here... No way I'm going to make Leon disappointed in me. If that meant she'd have to learn to get over her fear she would. Wouldn't be the first time she had to. Only this time she wasn't three and a half feet tall, and she had a feeling they could crawl through ventilation shafts just as well as she could. Well, I was starting to think that the work I was doing before was starting to get too easy. Trying to act 'normal' will be a miracle in it's self. The thought actually got a small laugh out of her.
