Who:Dean and Kira What: In which Kira is suspicious of the complex and therefore uses Dean to hide behind. When: last night! Where: complex
It was hard for Kira to find the complex at first. It was hard for her to find anything in Kansas. Being new was frustrating. Being in Kansas was even worse. Not only was it not New York it was also Apocalypse Central. Kira thought after her last trip through time with the Space Patrol Delta Rangers she was done fighting in galactic wars and could move on with her life. She would have been okay with that too. Being able to follow her musical dreams and take the next step, but now she was three steps backward. Nobody even knew her there. Sure she wasn't really that famous outside of Reefside yet, but there was a certain comfort in knowing that she could be in said Reefside and at least feel like she existed. In Kansas it was the opposite feeling. So many people had been pulled to this place, she had a feeling there was something beyond just the broken seals and demons going on. But she didn't know if she really wanted to find out what.
She'd been talking to Dean on those boards since she arrived and couldn't help but trust him a little. So far him and Tommy, a boy who seemed around her age maybe a little younger were the only ones she listened too. The others on the boards were acting a little crazy. Fits of anger, or crazy lust. "Sins" as they called it. Demons. Hell demons. As in Lucifer, exorcisms and everything. It was overwhelming, but Kira tried not to let it take her down. She was a ranger. She knew that in times of crisis she was supposed to keep a level head and panicking was not being level headed.
Still the closer she got to the address Dean gave her, the more anxiety she began to feel. She wasn't that hard to miss, at least. She had her guitar strapped on her back just as she said she did, and had a very unique style. Neo punk is what she liked to think of it with a splash of goth and yellow. She was dressed in black leggins, a blue jean skirt, and yellow mesh top with black solid colors underneath, on her wrist was a silver bracelet with a bright yellow gem in the center. The dino gem that was infused with her DNA, and suddenly for whatever reason felt warm and active again. It spooked her a little, but it was also comfortingly familiar. She also wore a pair of slightly old black dirty converse. At least she wasn't the type of girl who was high maintenance. She couldn't even imagine that personality in this city.
For a moment she stopped across the street of the address and looked up at the large described building. She felt her chest tighten slightly and gripped gently at the piece of paper she'd used to scribble it down on. Being the new kid in town was never any fun. She was freezing up, maybe it was a bad idea. What if it was like Tommy said and they just wanted something from her?
