Who: Kon and Clark What: awkwardness and super proof When: backdated slightly to yesterday after the com~ Where: complex rooftop warnings: tba but should be none
Kon didn't know why he was nervous, it was just Clark. All he had to do was prove to him that he was who he said he was. But that was the thing, Kon really didn't like the idea that he had to prove anything at all. Clark didn't believe him. If he was able to pull off a believable flight pattern infront of the other Kryptonian how was he going to explain being Superboy without delving into the fact that he was a clone? Clark was already doubting him. He really didn't have any desire to be hated and rejected ontop of it. It wasn't like he chose to be Lex Luthors science project. He had no idea how he was going to tell Clark why he could do everything he could and then some without telling him everything. Every minor detail, and to be honest it worried him.
The way Clark reacted to him being aware of the name Kal-El was odd enough. Why in the world did he agree to meet Clark? Why was he always so desperate for his approval? Kon sat ontop of that roof just like he promised in anticipation. His feet were gently dangling off the side of said building, and he was enjoying the warm air. It felt better then just waiting around in his room and going stir crazy waiting for Clark.
He was dressed in his usual Superboy outfit. A pair of jeans, and his black shirt with red house of El symbol. Clark had explained everything to him about Krypton, and about that symbol giving people hope. He would have been lying if he said he didn't need the extra confidence booster. He wasn't so worried about the show of powers, that was the easy part. Usually anyway. Some of them could act up from time to time, but he figured it had something to do with alternate dimensions and not being used to being alone in a big city. He'd been on his own before, but at that time he'd had Tim to explain the weird things in science, Cissie to be a buffer between Boy Wonder and boredom, and Bart for entertainment purposes. Now he was virtually on his own and it was harder. He couldn't figure out what to focus on.
