If Tina were in her right mind, she'd be wondering what the hell she'd been thinking. She wasn't the type to want to kill herself no matter how bad things got. But with despair going through her, it had seemed the only option. Mike could be happy with Kitty, he wouldn't need to worry about her anymore. But apparently he felt like worrying about her anyway. But why? He deserved someone he already had a future with. Who knew about them and their Asian babies.
Through the haze of her unconscious state, Tina could hear Mike's voice. It was garbled, but she could pick up on his urgency. But why would he be urgent about her? She wasn't anything special. She wasn't special in Lima and she sure as hell wasn't special in Lawrence where people had special powers and understanding of what was going on. She was just a high school glee kid... And she couldn't even keep a music room safe. How could she be expected to help in the fight against the Apocalypse?
Whimpering as she was picked up, Tina curled up against him on instinct. But she could feel herself waking up as Mike rushed her towards the infirmary.
"N...no...." The word came out weakly as she really had no desire to be saved. She hadn't even wanted Mike to see her like this. So weak and pathetic, to see her as she actually was. "M'fine...." The words were slurred together, but she didn't seem to notice it. Even so, she just hid her face against Mike's shoulder, shivering.
