He needed her. He was saying it. Sure he was also saying he needed the blood but that was her too wasn't it. That thing only she could give him. She'd made him enjoy it bit by bit and now it was a full blown addiction. And she knew there were so many reasons why he shouldn't have it. But right now, when he looked at her like that, like she was his and there was nothing else in the world but how she would please him, she just couldn't say no to him. She loved everything about him and if he wanted the blood tonight then she wouldn't refuse him. Because he was saying exactly what she wanted, no, what she needed to hear. He needed her. It was enough for her to be needed, to be locked in a room with him like this. Craving each other, every inch of her body on fire just because he looked at her.
And then on top of that he wanted the demon. The evil thing she'd been. Much as she'd changed, it sent a shiver through her to think of playing the part again, she remembered the blonde meatsuit. Emily she'd been called, she was fun. Never stopped fighting till Bobby had put a bullet through the body, she'd realised the futility of it by then. The instant Ruby let go, she'd die. She'd gotten complient then, she remembered the bitchy arrogant attitude she'd taken with him, and the knowledge that even then, Sam would be hers one day. She'd make him stong. He stepped in close and the submissive attitude changed. She instantly returned to the old ways, the darkly amused smirk. The languid, almost bored attitude with just how dense the boy could be.
"So what do you actually think you're going to accomplish here Sam?" she asked. She'd have to pretend with the traps as much as she could of course, they'd still affected her by then. "Fine, you've got me, but what do you actually think you can do. You need me and I've taken down more Hunters than you've ever met. Made them scream, beg. Don't often hear of Hunters begging do you?" For all that they were playing a game it was all very true. But it was what he had wanted and she knew why.
Sam wanted to break her. He'd tie her down, play his hand at torture the old fashioned way, and then he'd try to break the bitches spirit. And Ruby would let him eventually. He always won their games.
"You don't even realise who you're dealing with do you Champ?" she added, throwing the hated nickname in there for good measure. "You don't realise the people that have a vested interest in your future. I'm the only one with the guts to tell it to your face!
