Charlie smiled faintly as the door opened, but found herself looking a bit intimidated when she caught sight of the man who had opened it. He was much taller than her and held himself in such a way that made him appear all the more regal. His clothing strayed from the norm, but didn’t surprise her. The seal had brought people to Lawrence from various worlds. If the places were unfamiliar she supposed that the fashions could be different as well.
After a moment, Charlie realized that she had been silent for an awkwardly long period of time. She shook her head as if she was shaking a mental fog away and offered her hand to be shaken.
“Yes, Charlie McGee. You must be Kael’thas. It’s nice to meet you.” She gave a small smile which seemed warm enough.
“Your home, here, is very nice.” She gave a nod to their surroundings.
