WHO: Caroline Forbes and Dan Humphrey WHEN: RIGHT NOW! WHERE: Dan’s room at the Complex WHAT: Caroline is being a fangirl and is bringing over perogies for dinner, an excuse to stare at Dan who is hot! I mean er…Caroline is being a welcome wagon? STATUS: Incomplete RATING: TBA
Caroline Forbes really had no idea what shame was. It was something people who weren’t her had. This was probably why Caroline was currently on her way to the complex, a building she had avoided as much as she could (with the rare exception of going to visit Kurt or Quinn), with a bag of take out. She had no problem in making friends with characters from the TV shows she watched. She adored Kurt on Glee and was now ecstatic to call him one of her friends. She was opening a dance studio with Mike and Lorne.
For a fangirl, Caroline thought was actually really mature. It wasn’t like she had thrown herself at any of her character crushes, or shamelessly flirted with any of them…yet. She had had a crush on Dan since she started watching Gossip Girl, not only was he good looking, but if he was actually real Caroline would have definitely dated him. And he was real! He was nice and good looking, and seemed like a great guy. The type of guy someone could actually depend on. Not that Caroline was planning on dating Dan, it would be nice, but that wasn’t her plan. Caroline wasn’t even sure she wanted a relationship, being a vampire and all relationships would get messy. She had almost killed Matt after all, and would have if Stefan hadn’t stepped in. Still, she was lonely. She had amazing friends yes, but she was lonely. She wanted to love someone and have someone love her back.
No, no, this was just a friendly visit. A welcome wagon visit. A visit that just happened to be to someone she had a crush on. No big deal right?
She was happy the Complex was a public building otherwise she was couldn’t get in. Finding out where Dan’s room was easy enough and she made her way up the stairs to his room.
“Dan?” she knocked on his door. “It’s Caroline, the OMG girl. I know you like perogies, so I brought some. The best in all of Lawrence.”
Then she panicked. What if Dan didn't invite her in with words? Then she couldn't come in, she'd be stuck out in the hallway. For some reason Caroline wasn't sure about telling Dan she was a vampire, even though pretty much in the city knew. For some reason she had a feeling that it wouldn't go over well, besides she kind of wanted to feel somewhat normal again - that wasn't a bad thing right?
