WHO: Chris Halliwell & Prue & Kon-el (Maybe the rest of the Charmed clan too?)
WHAT: Something Charmed This Way Comes. AKA. Chris arrives.
WHEN: Saturday Night.
WHERE: Lawrence, Kansas.
RATING: PG-13.

Chris loved being a witch. It took a long time to deal with - the rules, and the secrets, and the insanity that came with it, but at eighteen, he was finally figuring out who he was: an ass kicking demon hunting witch who could move shit with his mind. What could be better than that? Granted, he hadn't experienced the downside of their life in his short time as a witch. His mother and aunts, on the other hand, were always the voices of caution and reason. Magic had a dark side.

Maybe this was why this week's vanquish was particularly difficult for his mother. The demon for this week had used the image of his dead aunt to infiltrate the family and gain access to the Book of Shadows. Luckily, Chris and Mel weren't exactly fooled. Something was off. In all the years since her death, they had never been able to see her through the great divide. There was Grams and Grandma, but they had never been able to see Prue.

So, here they were - the Eldest of the next generation hunting something that had taken their aunt's form and opened up old wounds. With a flick of his wrist, he slammed her into a wall. Mel was biding her time until Wyatt arrived with the potion. After being immune to both Piper and Mel's powers, it left Chris to play distraction, and he was already beginning to feel tired. The not!Prue attacked with a flurry of kicks and punches, Chris was taken aback and lost his balance feeling the last blow tenfold as the not!Prue boosted the punch with her telekinesis sending him into the wall of the building with a loud crack and he crumbled to the ground.

"Chris!" he heard his sister shout, and the rest was blackness.

When Chris came to, he lay flat on his stomach in the middle of the street in the middle of the night. With a pained groan, he got to his knees and glanced around. Where the hell was he?

It was just another day in Lawrence. Prue was on her way back to the complex from work. She was truly ready to break into photography, but she needed more of a portfolio before she started interviewing. Though at least there weren't any Dark Lighters here to foil any of her interviews, though the Apocalypse well could. Prue sighed a bit, wondering what to make for dinner when she got back to her apartment. She pulled her coat closer around her, doing her best to keep out the cold.

Prue's mind drifted through her thoughts. But everything was interrupted when she noticed a young man on his knees in the middle of the street. It wasn't hard to tell that he was in pain. Glancing in both directions, she made sure no cars were coming before she went over to him. "Hey, are you okay?" She asked, kneeling down beside him. She wasn't exactly sure what had happened. She hadn't seen a car come, or anything remotely like an accident. Perhaps he was a new arrival here? Either that or she had just been really unobservant. But she was going to let him do the question asking instead of assuming one scenario over the other.

Chris was indeed in pain. Lucky for him, it was just a whole lot of ache with some bruises but he'd definitely be feeling it for the next couple of days. Goddamn Wyatt, he thought and suddenly someone was by his side. The concern was a) appreciated but also b) confusing. He wondered if he'd accidentally orbed out of the building - or if she had done something to him. Banished him some place.

"I-" he cleared his throat. "I'm." Wait. That voice. Glancing up, his brow furrowed and with all his might he mentally pushed at her. "What the hell," he shouted, ,"fucking with my family wasn't enough you have to add alternate realities to the list, too?" Getting onto his feet, he took a few steps forward.

"Wyatt," he shouted. "Dad!" It was probably a long shot, but he had to try. "Where did you send us," he asked with a steely edge in his tone.

Prue was completely caught off-guard by the mental push, and she fell backwards with a grunt. The cold, hard pavement was unforgiving, but she was glad she had a coat on to protect herself from getting scrapped. Well, this was definitely not going well. Prue picked herself up, now standing close to the curb. She shook her head and looked at the dark haired.

"Look, I didn't do anything, and I sure as Hell don't go around fucking with people's families. In fact, it's usually people fucking with my family, but that's not the point." Prue took a deep breath, and when she heard him call for Wyatt, a puzzled look came over her face. "Wait, Wyatt? Dad? Do you mean Wyatt Halliwell and Leo Wyatt?" Of course, she wasn't sure who she was dealing with here, she'd never seen the boy before. But could he be family?

"I didn't send you anywhere. Lucifer brought you here. You aren't in your own world anymore, just like I'm not in mine." Prue was ready to explain things, but she was also prepared for a fight if he insisted on one. She was definitely ready this time in case he tried to use telekinesis again.

His eyes narrowed, of course, and circled her. His head was still buzzing from earlier, and his brow felt heavy. The fact that she knew their names didn't prove anything, though. Of course she'd know their names -- she had spent her time studying them. Then she started to babble some nonsense about Lucifer and Chris rolled his eyes in typical Halliwell fashion. "Lucifer?" He quirked a brow. "Really? That's the best you can come up with?" Sure, the "devil" existed. The Source of All Evil had many names, but that particular brand of belief hadn't factored into their battle.

Still, maybe there was an inkling of truth. It was definitely night now, and, by the look of her clothes, he'd been out for a long time, or she was clever at covering her tracks. Narrowing his eyes at her, he tilted his head. "Idea." He held up his hand. "It involves less fighting, but requires a certain level of trust." He paused. "If you're..." He looked her over. "Who you're supposed to be, you won't care." He cleared his throat. "Truth spell. You game?"

Well, he certainly had the Halliwell eyeroll down. Prue crossed her arms. "Yes, Lucifer. And I'm not lying about it. This isn't the world we're used to. I know it may sound completely crazy and absurd, but it's the truth." She wasn't about to say anything about her home just in case this guy wasn't trustworthy. She had the feeling he was family, and Prue's instincts were normally correct, but she wasn't going to take a risk right now. If there was anything this world had taught her, and learning about her fate had taught her, it was that she shouldn't always stick her neck out. She'd all ready died once here, and she had no intention of doing that again.

The instant the Truth spell was mentioned, Prue barely suppressed a groan. The Truth spell had wreaked havoc on her and her sisters' lives for 24 hours when she'd merely wanted to know how Andy would react to her secret about being a witch. But if it would prove to him that she wasn't a demon, or even evil, then she'd do it. She'd just need to be careful about cutting people's questions off for the next 24 hours. "All right, let's do the truth spell." She uncrossed her arms. "You can do the honors, if you wish." That was one spell she hadn't forgotten, so she could cast it if need be.

Well, hey. At least she seemed on the level. Better to be safe than sorry. For the both of them, he supposed. "For those who want the truth revealed, opened hearts and secrets unsealed, from now until it is now again after which the memory ends. Those who now are ... Chris Halliwell ... will hear the truth from others' mouths." Okay, so it was lame but they weren't in a house and he sure as hell wasn't going to say town. Of all the siblings, Chris had been the only one to study the Book of Shadows. Wyatt was too busy being all powerful, and his sister had never had the patience, which meant it fell to him.

He'd never actually used this spell before for... Well, after hearing how badly it had gone down, he hadn't had a reason for it. However, now seemed like an appropriate time. He wondered how long it would take? "Who's your favorite sister?" Okay, so that wasn't fair, but. What did he have to lose?

Prue was a bit impressed, and also a bit relieved, that he'd changed the wording. At least they could get away without affecting the whole city with the spell. The last thing they needed was another round of uncontrollable truth. At least Prue hadn't been responsible for that one. She only was responsible for the truth overdose back home.

When he asked the question, she gave him a disbelieving look. But of course, the truth compelled her to speak, well, the truth and not what she wanted to say. "I have to say Piper because she tends to annoy me the least. There is a reason Piper and I lived together before moving back to the Manor with Grams. But it would depend on the day and what point in time we're talking about." She knew Phoebe would've smacked her if she'd been there with her right then, but what could she do? It was a truth spell after all. Though the Phoebe that had been here not that long ago hadn't irritated her as much as the one from her time. She'd found a common ground with her little sister and had been able to act like a sister with her instead of being busy butting heads with her.
