She really did try to not look as though she was laughing too much as she took a sip of the lemonade. "Well you do sort of earn the title," she pointed out. "Though I have to admit, I like the intriguing. It's different." There was a certain amount of respect that had to be given to anyone who didn't spill their life story at a moment's notice, like even she was prone to do on occasion. And it made Eliot more than a little interesting. "And yeah, they were calling it a ghost sickness," she frowned with faint confusion. "Still don't understand how it all happened, but that's not part of my job description, fortunately."
Nope, her job description was simply to look after her patients, something which had been made a whole lot easier thanks to having the right equipment. "It was a life saver." Literally. With a grin, Martha knocked lightly on the wood as well. "I'm just hoping I can have a little break before the next medical emergency." She held up one hand, her forefinger and thumb held only a tiny gap apart. "Just a little one, that's all I'm asking. Shouldn't be too much to hope for right?"
