Sneaking out had been far too easy, Padmé mused. She wasn't sure if she was disturbed by this fact or not. If someone could sneak out couldn't they sneak in just as easily. Maybe she'd take that up with whomever was in charge of complex security later, right now she had much bigger issues to deal with.
She knew sneaking off to go see Anakin was a bad idea, a very bad idea. Padmé had never been one to sit back and wait for things to happen, even if it meant she'd be taking a serious risk - so once the initial shock had worn off she plotted getting out of the building. Despite the fact she was told he was a Sith, Anakin was still Anakin. There had to be some part of him she could reach, besides, they were apparently married and had had children together.
When Anakin appeared she was shocked. He really was older now, not the nine year old boy she had known. Part of her mind couldn't help but think that he was good looking too, really good looking. Then came the question.
It took Padmé a few minutes to answer, she was too busy staring up at him. "Anakin," her voice was little over a whisper, when she first spoke. She swallowed hard before continuing. "They didn't take me, they were just watching out for me."
She had no idea how to continue now. How to say she wasn't his Padmé. That the time she was from, she hadn't seen him for ten years, that she wasn't his wife, and she most certainly wasn't carrying any of his children.
"Did any of them explain this place to you?" she asked.
