Tina was beyond confused. Everything had been so normal. Well, not exactly normal as she and Mike had finally gotten to go on a date without his mother tagging along. It wasn't normal, but it was nice. And Tina had been so happy about it, and it seemed as though Mike had as well. After all, it wasn't that Tina disliked his mother, she just disliked the fact that his mother always had to tag along on their dates when they were trying to be romantic. It just put a damper on things. After all, with his mother's ever watchful eye, well, needless to say, wandering the park and staring at the stars had been a nice reprieve. But then she ended up coming out of the house to get the mail and next thing she knew, she was wandering a college town until some local told her to find a computer. Well, she found the computer and now she was waiting.

To say that she was shocked that Mike had responded would be an understatement. After all, she hadn't expected him to be there as well. As far as she had known, she was alone. But apparently she wasn't. There was a handful of McKinley High students there, which was reassuring. But Tina would be lying if she didn't say she was happiest about Mike being there. After all, she was basically in love with him despite their fights. They always ended up stronger in the end and so, her feelings for Mike were that of love.

After responding with what they had done the night before, Tina sat back in the computer chair and waited> Either for a response to the post or for Mike to show up.

Mike was almost 100% sure that he was going to throw up sometime in the next 24 hours. He had never felt this much anxiety before, not even before the first time he took the SATs or the first time he asked a girl out on a date. Those times had been easy as a cakewalk in comparison to how he was feeling right then. The whole drive toward the University of Kansas had been spent with him driving above the speed limit and getting lost twice before he finally found the library that Tina had mentioned. It took too long for him to find a parking space before he pulled into a space and headed up the steps to the library.

Fiddling with his phone, he sent one last message off to Tina to let her know he was at the entrance and then waited, wondering how the hell he was suppose to make this situation better.

He loved Tina. It had been about two months since he last saw her and that hadn't been enough time for him to get over his feelings for her. But he unfortunately had access to the memories and feelings his future self had for Kitty. He had even started to develop new memories and feelings for Kitty of his own, in an attempt to get over Tina, but...now she was here.

Being a teenage boy in love was hard enough without time travel, dimension hopping, and two different sets of feelings. Mike really hated the demons and angels that had brought him here.

Feeling her phone ping, Tina looked down and smiled. Though, she was slightly confused by his lack of remembering their date. But surely that would be explained to her once she met up with him. So, smiling in thanks to the librarian who seemed to know just what was going on, Tina headed out of the library and scanned the students before she spotted him. She'd always know where Mike was, it was something she had developed in their relationship.

"Mike!" Rushing over, the petite Asian hugged her boyfriend and kissed him before stepping back and canting her head to the side.

"You really don't remember our date?" Shaking her head, Tina laced her arm through Mike's, unaware of what was going through his mind. Oh, she could tell there was something going on in there, for certain. But what it was? Well, Tina was no mind reader and she could only hope he would fill her in on what was bothering him.

"No matter. So, what is this place? I mean, I know it's a college town, but how did we end up here, why?" Might as well get it out of the way, right?

[OOC: Sorry for initial short post. My ride showed up but it's all better now.]

There were people all over the city that apparently knew what was going on with all the new arrivals. It was the only way to explain all the friendly citizens of Lawrence that directed people to the complex or the message boards. The only other explanation that Mike could think of to explain these people was that they were demons. Which was definitely the more creepy thought, so Mike didn't try to think about it too much.

Seeing Tina rushing toward him, he felt his heart do something weird. It felt like a flutter and a flip all at once. As worried as he was about what would happen between him, Tina, and Kitty, he was happy to see his girlfriend. He smiled as she called his name and held his arms open as he caught her hug. For just a few moments, he forgot about everything but her as he held her tight.

Reluctant to let her go, he had no choice to as she asked her question. "It's really hard to explain," he started, before looking around and noting how they were in too public of a place to be talking about this. The faster he got her back to the complex, the better it would be. He didn't want her getting possessed or something before he could explain all this to her. All of it, including Kitty.

"Let's get back to the place I'm staying at and I'll explain everything to you," he finally said, holding out his hand for her to take. "It isn't really safe here for you, yet." He knew how confusing he might sound right then, but he hoped she trusted him enough to not question it for the moment.

Or she could not get her answers right away. That worked, too. Quirking a brow in confusion, Tina merely nodded at his statement. Okay, so it wasn't safe. That explained the one girl's comment on how Mike would keep her safe. Tina personally didn't see anything strange about the place, but she had been there all of an hour, maybe. So what did she know? She knew the way to the KU library and then the library itself. That really didn't explain a town at all.

"All right..." What could she say? She was confused beyond belief and she had to wait to get answers. But at least it was Mike who would be explaining things to her and not some stranger. Or Puck. Somehow she doubted Puck would know how to explain anything serious.

Taking the proffered hand, Tina interlaced their fingers and gave Mike a small smile before following him to his car. Something was still troubling him, but it was probably just the information he had to explain and the reasoning on why it wasn't safe for her yet. Or so Tina would tell herself.

Trying to give her a reassuring smile and utterly failing that when all he did was looked pained, he opened the passenger side door for her before getting into the driver's seat. He sat there for a moment, as if he was confused as to how to start the engine up, before he finally put his key in the ignition and drove off.

The KU library quickly grew smaller behind them, as Mike did his best not to crash his jeep into a pole in his nervous excitement. He looked over at Tina once, trying for reassuring once more, and did a lot better this time now that they were on their way to the complex. It would still be about ten minutes or so until they got there, but he was confident that they would get there unharmed. With that confidence in mind, he let go of the wheel with his right hand and reached over to take Tina's. "I promise this will start making sense soon," he said, squeezing her hand gently.

"I just want to do this where you'll be safe and comfortable." Because while demons were his biggest concern right then, he was worried that she would walk off when he explained Kitty to her. And he couldn't have her on her own in Lawrence, without an amulet to protect her. She could hit him and scream at him at the complex, when they got there. In an effort to put her more at ease in the interim between the library and the complex, he asked again, "We really went out without my mom? How did we manage that?"

Noticing the pained look on his face, Tina pressed her lips together in concern. Something was definitely going on in his mind, but the multi colored hair teen was uncertain on if she wanted to really know what was going on. Well, of course she wanted to know. She didn't like that he was upset and she didn't know why. But a part of Tina was worried that what he had to say was something she didn't want to know.

Noticing Mike looking over to her, Tina gave a small smile to him, letting him know that she was really there. From what she had experienced, which really wasn't all that much, people showing up out of nowhere was normal. She had gotten that from the comments she'd received from people she didn't know. No one seemed freaked out by it for the most part. But in that vein, couldn't it be said that people could also disappear as well? It was troubling. What if Mike disappeared on her?

"I trust you." Returning the hand squeeze, the female Asian looked out the window, watching people go by. While she was indeed shy, Tina also enjoyed people watching. But then Mike was asking about the date again and Tina just laughed some as she looked back to her boyfriend.

"Yes, we really did go out without your mom and it was really nice. We'd been fighting a lot," Flushing at that admission, Tina looked down than shook her head. "So we tried Asian couple's therapy and we were told to go out on our own. It was something we wanted to do anyway, we just now had an excuse to use that wouldn't be lying. I think your mom was put out but she seemed to want us to work out so she went along with it, so long as we promised to do Dim Sum's another time."

When Mike had revealed to his mother that his girlfriend was Asian, she had made him all his favourite foods that night and had gone on and on about having Asian grandbabies and how she was so happy that Mike was settling down. That had only served to freak Mike out a lot because he was only seventeen years old, but he eventually got used to his mother's excitement and, after his initial freak out, realized that it was very likely he would end up marrying Tina one day. He loved her without a doubt, so it was no surprise that his mother was so sure that they would end up together.

However, that had only fueled his mother in her crazy quest to be included in everything Tina-related because she wanted to make sure they worked out. Apparently, that included his dates with her. At first, it had been kind of cute, if a little embarrassing. He liked seeing his mother happy and Tina had been cool with it at first. But then his mother kept on going on dates with them because "it's only proper to have a chaperone!" and apparently they were still living in ancient China. It frustrated Tina, he could see that, and he would be lying if he didn't say it frustrated him too. But she was his mother. What was he suppose to do?

But he was glad it was working out for them. Or was. Or would be. He was still really confused by this whole time travel deal, but it was still nice to hear that something went (or would) go right in their relationship.

"Asian's couple therapy, huh?" He said, peering over at her again when they came to a stop light. "So would our date to BreadstiX have been considered an Asian couple therapy date or just a regular date since we weren't at Dim Sum's?" He was trying to make a (bad) joke to ease whatever tension there was between them because even if he had fucked up royally, he didn't want her uncomfortable before he dropped the inevitable apocalypse bomb on her.

It had been cute. Really, it had been. Especially to Tina, whose parents were never around. And it wasn't as if she hadn't known the maternal Chang, having spent much of her childhood with Mike as her parents knew she'd be looked after there. But really, there was only so much that Tina could take. She wanted an actual relationship. Not being ignored for Halo or watching "Coming Home" all the time. And not having a constant chaperone on dates. It wasn't like she and Mike were sexually active, for crying out loud! Intense make out sessions, sure. But still.

If Mike was confused by the time traveling, than Tina was going to be completely confused as she just got here. Because if someone who had been here for a while wasn't used to the time traveling, how could someone who was brand new be expected to take it in so easily? Exactly. They couldn't. Especially when they lived a normal and albeit boring life. Because seriously, slushies got old after awhile.

Chuckling at the bad joke, Tina merely shrugged.

"We were just told to go on a date on our own. We got to choose everything we did, so I think that makes it an actual date."

Relaxed slightly now that they were talking more easily, he could see the complex in the distance. He pointed at it, explaining, "That's where we're headed. I think you'll like it. There's a pol and everything there." He began to explain the setup of the complex, how there were individual apartments for anyone that needed one, for people like them. He didn't go into any real detail about exactly who people like them were, but only because he didn't want her freaking out in such an enclosed space. She could accuse him of being crazy nuts inside the complex, where she had room to walk away if she needed to get her bearings.

Giving Tina's hand one last squeeze, he pulled his away to grip his steering wheel as he pulled into the complex's parking lot. Edging in carefully next to Kurt's shiny new car, he turned the engine off and tried for yet another smile. This one was even better than the last, now that they were finally here. But then his smile dimmed a little, remembering he had yet to get into the whole apocalypse thing.

"Come on, I'll show you where you can freshen up and then I'll explain everything to you." He said, getting out of the jeep and coming around to her side. Mike had no idea what she made of this situation yet or how much she knew, but he was planning to start from the very beginning of his arrival and what he knew. Offering her a hand to step down from the jeep, he pulled her into a hug and kissed the top of her head. "I'm really glad you're here, Tina."

Tina honestly had no idea how to respond to anything that was going on, so she had decided that she just wasn't going to respond until she had all of the details in hand. She was going to try to be reasonable, to accept the things that seemed too crazy to comprehend. After all, she had walked out of her house in Lima, Ohio and ended up in Lawrence, Kansas. That just was not normal. So she was prepared for a whole lot of weird, though the level of weird was going to be beyond comprehension.

Hearing about the complex, Tina gave small nods every so often to show she was listening. It sounded nice and it wasn't as if she wasn't used to living on her own. True her parents came home, but she almost never saw them so she was used to being alone. At least she'd have friends there. She'd have Mike. And at least Mike's smile was better this time, but Tina still worried about him. Who knew how long he had been there, what he had seen.

"All right." While Tina was used to doing things on her own, being with Mike had taught her to be used to chivalry as well, so she merely smiled some as she took his hand to get out of the jeep, returning the hug and looking up at him.

"I'm glad you're here, too. I don't know what I'd do if I showed up here and you weren't here..."

Tina was perfectly capable of kicking his ass, but that had nothing to do with manners and how his mother believed he should behave around women. Especially women he cared for. But really, helping her out of the jeep was more about hugging her again and feeling that she was real, than anything else. Whatever happened, he hoped he still had her in the end. He wasn't sure how and there was still Kitty to consider, who he loved as well, but he knew he needed Tina in his life now that she was here.

His smile was somewhat brittle as she talked about not knowing what to do if he hadn't been there, having gone through the reverse nearly three months prior. He was certain she wouldn't have cheated on him like he did to her, for one thing.

"Let's get you inside. It's cold out here," he said instead, shivering for effect. In his rush, he had forgotten to bring his coat and was standing there in the cold Kansas afternoon in a short sleeved button up. Plaid, of course.

It really was cold. Tina hadn't grabbed her jacket to check the mail as it had been nice out in Lima, so she was in a short sleeved black dress and fishnets with a lace collar. So getting out of the cold was definitely a good idea. Though the brittle smile caused Tina to worry. She really had no idea what was going on, but all of the subtle looks she was picking up on were making her worried. Extremely worried. Whatever Mike had to say, Tina was pretty sure she wasn't going to like it.

"Sounds like a plan." Interlacing their fingers, Tina allowed Mike to lead her into the complex, looking around the lobby at the people coming and going. Some of them seemed familiar, but not in a way of her knowing them. She couldn't place it as she wasn't paying much attention to that, but it was strange. But then she was where she was to freshen up so the goth let go of Mike's hand and did just that before joining MIke again.

"So, where should we go so you can explain all of this?" Her tone was casual though curiosity was definitely tinged in her words. She wanted to know what was going on and figure out her place in all this crazy mess. Because it had to be crazy to be dragging her from home to Kansas.

As she washed up in the bathroom, Mike paced the length of the living room, worrying himself into knots as he tried to think of a way to explain what was going on. His sense of humour wasn't misplaced enough for him to go 'Welcome to the apocalypse, by the way I have a new g-Kitty?' nor was he cruel enough either. He loved Tina and wouldn't ever dream of doing that to her.

Recalling how strange this situation had been when he had been the one that had newly arrived in Lawrence, he tried to be as kind and open as the people that had explained the situation to him had been. He was startled when Tina reappeared, looking and sounding even more curious than before. Breaking out of his pacing he, sat heavily down on the couch and gestured for her to make herself comfortable.

"Here is fine. I actually live here with...a friend." He wasn't sure if friend was the right for Elliot, but the guy was okay and just as neat and tidy as he was, which made them great roommates. "He's out so we're not going to be disturbed." Then, as trying to delay this conversation a little longer, he asked her, "Do you want something to eat? Drink?" He was already halfway out of his seat to head for the kitchen.

Seeing Mike pace was definitely worrisome. It meant that he was uncomfortable and she couldn't tell if it was because of her (which made no sense) or if it was the situation. Probably the situation if she were to be honest with herself. At least, she hoped so. She really didn't want to get into another fight about him not wanting to be with her and wanting someone prettier and more popular than she was. A constant fear she had.

As Mike gestured to her to sit down, Tina took a place next to Mike and pulled her legs up beside her, smoothing out the skirt of her dress as she looked around the apartment. It definitely was clean, and hearing that Mike had a roommate was rather startling. She didn't think anyone could be as neat and tidy as Mike was, though apparently she was wrong given the state of the apartment. Nodding, she folded her hair behind her ear and then quirked a brow at the question.

Taking Mike's hand and tugging him back onto the couch, Tina faced him, face serious.

"Mike. What's going on? What are you trying to postpone?" Oh, she knew he was stalling and Tina couldn't take the curiosity and worry much longer.

"Okay, so you're going to think I'm really crazy, but I promise you I'm not and I'll show you some things later that'll prove it, but we're in another dimension? And I've been here for like three months almost. I got here after we did all those Britney songs and I've been stuck here ever since. But I'm not the only one and Quinn, Puck, Kurt, and Sam are here too. Sam got here after me but the others were here before that and are from an earlier time than we were," he said, all in one breath. Taking another breath, he then launched into the details of the apocalypse they were now in middle of.

It went on for a long time and he explained it all in detail. Or as much detail as he had, seeing as he still relatively new here in comparison to some of the others. On and on he went, talking about Lucifer, angels, and demons. He explained how the seal brought them there, to assist in the war though which side was left ambiguous. He could only explain what was known and eventually, what seemed like his neverending talking finally slowed to an halt.

"So. Yeah. Apocalypse," he said, rubbing the back of his neck in a nervous gesture as he peered at Tina from his slightly hunched over position. "I promise I'm not Punking you.

Tina remained silent as Mike explained to her what was going on. Usually she would interject but this? All of this was beyond confusing and she had no idea on just how to respond. The apocalypse? She wanted to believe that Mike was indeed punking her, but that wouldn't explain how she got to Kansas in the first place. He was much too much a gentleman to drug her. Puck might, but Mike wouldn't allow that. So that left her wondering how she got to Kansas. And if she couldn't find a logical explanation for that, well, she couldn't find a logical explanation for anything else that Mike was saying.

"I...see..." What was she supposed to say? Getting up, Tina began to pace, running her hand through her hair, "So we're stuck in a cosmic war of good and evil with no way of knowing what to do?" That was all she had gotten. It was the gist of it at least. After all, the apocalypse was just about that, good and evil. But what was good and what was evil?

"So everyone here is from a different time line and world?" Sitting down, Tina just stared at the wall in shock. "Woah..."

He watched her pace, the knot in his stomach growing. She could still freak out at any second, but that worry grew less and less with every word she spoke. It looked like Tina was starting to accept it, even if she still seemed shell-shocked, and he hadn't even gotten to Kitty yet. He wanted to hold her and tell her it was going to be okay, but he didn't know if he should.

"Most of them are. There are some natives to this world, that have a better idea about what's going on, but most of us are not from here." He hesitated, before saying, "Apparently, we're actually fictional here. We're on this show called Glee and from what I've seen of it, it mirrors our lives." He never saw anything about his home life on there, so it didn't reveal everything to the world at large, but there was still a good chunk out there in the open for everyone to know. "I can show you on the internet?"

Everything he had so far revealed had been easy for him so far, even if he had delayed it as long as possible. But that was only in comparison to what he had yet to tell her about Kitty.

And then Mike dropped another bombshell. Because obviously being pulled into the apocalypse at alternating time lines wasn't bad enough. Oh no, there was more. It wasn't that most of the people weren't from here. No, that was to be expected with what she had been told. No, it was that they were fictional.

"Excuse me? We're fictional? How is that even possible. Fictional implies not real, but we're real. We can feel and see and smell and...." That was just too much. But apparently Mike had a plan to prove it to her. There was no way this could be true, right? Maybe it was still a dream. "Ow!" Pinching herself and failing to wake up put that idea out the window and she sighed. "All right, show me on the computer."

Waiting until Mike got up, Tina pushed herself off the couch and followed him to the computer, eyes growing wide as she saw the Glee club in a television show format. It wasn't Ben-Israel's work for his blog. This was like... professional television quality.

"No way..."

"Yeah, that's what I said too when I found out," he said, smiling slightly. "Kurt was so pissed off until he figured out how to get a cut of the profit the show was making off us." He probably should have wished for something similar to make sure he was okay financially so long as he was in Lawrence, but he was also a teenage boy and had wished for something much more frivolous instead.

He watched for a few more moments, letting the first episode of season two play out on his laptop, before he spoke up again. This time his voice was softer, more hesitant than before. "Tee? There's more." Mike knew he had to talk to her about Kitty. He knew he would have to talk to Kitty about Tina. He wasn't looking forward to either conversation and he wished he had more time to calm down and think everything through, but Tina was here and there was no time for thinking. Not anymore.

"You should sit down," he said, worrying his bottom lip to the point where he could taste copper. How did you tell your girlfriend that you had another sort of girlfriend because you thought you would never see her again? How did you break the heart of the woman you thought you were going to marry?

Chuckling slightly at the image of Kurt finding a way to get a cut of the prophet, Tina gave a nod.

"Kurt would figure out how to do that." Why? Because he was Kurt. Kurt just had magical abilities to find a way to get money for his expensive designer clothing. Tina envied that. She loved her style, she did, but wouldn't it be nice to have corsets as well? Those were crazy expensive, though, so there wasn't much Tina could do in regards to that.

Watching the first episode of Season Two brought back memories of when she and Mike had first gotten together. It was so sweet. Though Jacob was annoying as all hell, even in the show. Wow, it really didn't miss anything, did it? And Rachel's dramatics were even worse on television. How was that possible? But then Mike said that there was more and Tina felt a knot tighten in her stomach. This was it. She was going to get what had truly been bothering him.

Nodding apprehensively, Tina moved away from the laptop and back to the couch, sitting down and then she waited for Mike to join her. She wanted to take his hand as obviously this was something he was going to have trouble with, but she didn't know if he'd want her to. Or if he was even going to sit down to begin with. So for now, it was waiting.

Kurt was unnaturally gifted at getting what he wanted, which led to some pretty unflattering comparisons to Rachel Berry in their shared drive and determination on occasion. Not that Mike would ever say that out loud to him. "Well, what can I say? Not even the apocalypse will stop Kurt from getting the latest Marc Jacobs." It was sad, really sad, that Mike knew who Marc Jacobs was. He blamed it on his mother, who even at forty two was a fashionable woman.

Thoughts of his mother and how much he missed her, were chased away when Tina sat down. This was it. He was finally going to tell her. He only hoped by the end of it, she didn't run away from him.

Swiping his tongue over his lip in a nervous gesture, he sat down next to her, though he noticeably put a few inches of distance between them. He didn't want to be standing, which could be intimidating considering where the conversation was about to go. He wished he could make her tea or something, something that would sooth her, to make her as comfortable as possible. But there was no time for stalling now.

This was it.

"Tee," he began slowly, looking down at his hands. He was sitting slightly hunched over, unable to look at her. "When I first got here, I thought maybe someone had spiked my drink or something. But as the weeks went by, I realized that I could very well not ever go back to Lima again." He paused. "To you." Letting out a breath, he continued. "Some people go home, some people don't. I didn't know which one I would be. And...Tina, I'm really sorry, but I started to move on. I love you, but I started to love someone else." And with that revelation, the floodgate seemed to break as Mike spilled out everything about his and Kitty's relationship. How he had gone to the future and found out that he had died, but he had been with Kitty for nearly a year at that point. How he had four years to get over Tina properly and move on, before coming back to the present and having those feelings conflict with the ones he had for Tina and how he hadn't moved on from her at this time.

He explained how Kitty and him tried to stay friends. How they really tried, before they finally gave up and started to see each other. He skipped over the fiasco over the holidays with Elliot, not wanting to confuse Tina, but he explained how he had gone to see Kitty to finally put a name to what they were doing. And he tried putting it into words how much he still loved her, but how he loved Kitty too.

"...and I love you, Tina, I really do. But I love her too and I don't know what to do now." He finally looked up from his hands, after talking for nearly fifteen minutes straight. His face showed all the conflict, confusion, and pain he was feeling and his eyes were suspiciously shiny, but he didn't know what else to say. "I'm sorry," he finally settled on, bracing himself for whatever reaction she would have.

Tina was getting more and more worried as the seconds ticked by, the knot in her stomach growing tighter and tighter. Something was going on. Something bad. Really really bad. The licking of the lip, the distance between them. Tina was about to tell Mike not to continue but he was already speaking and she felt her heart begin to shatter. Everything she had held faith in... She had had faith in her and Mike....

"W...what?" The word came out in a hoarse whisper, tears teetering precariously on the lids of her eyes and eye lashes. This... This wasn't happening. It was her worst fear, Mike leaving her for someone else. Someone prettier, more popular. And only three months? She heard what he had said. That it had taken him four years to properly get over her but still.

"You didn't think I'd find you? Yes, I know. I thought you were home, but you didn't think that I'd... Oh god." Getting up, Tina began to pace, running her fingers through her hair as she started to cry brokenly. She was supposed to marry him! Well, it wasn't discussed, but it had seemed it was going to go that way. They were from Lima for crying out loud. Young marriages just happened!

She wanted to punch him, hurt him like he was hurting her, but she couldn't do that to Mike, she just didn't have it in her. So instead she wrapped her arms around herself and collapsed to her knees in tears, body shaking.

Mike felt like shit. He was such a jerk for doing this to her and he knew it. Watching Tina's face crumble like that was the hardest thing he had ever done, knowing that he could stop it, but also knowing that there was just more than him and Tina involved. He couldn't do that to Kitty, just leaving her because Tina was here. He hadn't decided anything, at least, not until he talked to both girls, because even if this situation sucked, he didn't want to be a dick about it as well.

The second Tina started to fall to the ground, he was up off the couch and gathering her up in his arms. He might have been ruining their lives forever, but he cared so much for her that it hurt him to see her in this kind of pain. "Oh God," he said sounding utterly wrecked as he held her as well as she would let him. "I'm so sorry, Tina," he continued, sounding so broken and hollow all at once. He didn't mean for this to happen. He didn't mean to love two women at the same time. He almost wished he had never shown up in Lawrence, but his heart ached at the thought, knowing that he never would have met Kitty then.

Was it possible to love two people at once? Yes. A lot people said that, but they seemed to fail to mention that it hurt so badly being torn in two like this.

It didn't help that Mike sounded broken as well. How was she supposed to be angry when the person hurting her was obviously hurting as well? How was that even fair!? It wasn't, that was how. After all, he was the one that had two girlfriends. Why was he allowed to be hurt as well?

Balling up her hands into fists, Tina began to pound on Mike's chest weakly. As much anger as she felt, she was also conflicted. After all, he sounded broken as well. Even if he wasn't allowed to be. Which meant Tina was conflicted between wanting to comfort him and wanting to fight him.

Eventually losing steam, Tina just cried against Mike's chest, unable to form coherent words so she didn't bother talking at all.

Feeling horrible, Mike refused to let Tina go when she tried to push him away. He knew she was hurting because he felt just as terrible. She was innocent in all this, just as Kitty was. This was his own mess and he couldn't clean it up with an apology or a hug. He couldn't make it stop hurting for Tina like he wished he could. She was crying because of him and he couldn't do anything about it.

Feeling helpless, useless, and guilt, he let her beat at him until she lost the energy to continue. Instead, he held her for as long as she needed him to hold her, wishing he could take away her pain. Seeing her suffer like this made him feel like shit, but he had no idea what he could do for her now except this.

Staring at a wall over her shoulder, he let his mind shut down as he went into auto-pilot. He stroked her hair and her back with one hand while his other arm held her to him. Making shushing sounds in hopes of easing her pain, he sat there until his butt went numb.

Even though she was hurting, Tina was thankful for the arms around her. Not that she'd ever say that of course. Not when the person holding her was the person who had shattered her heart. But she was so used to Mike being there, that it would have been worse if he weren't holding her. As if acting that he truly didn't care. Tina wouldn't be able to handle that. It sucked, though, all of the confusion running through her mind.

Who knew how long Tina stayed there, crying against Mike. Eventually, though, she pulled away, gasping for breath and feeling nauseous from the heavy tears she was crying.

"I can't do this... I need to get out of here...." The words were hoarse and broken. She needed to be alone. But she didn't know where to go, not that it mattered. As such, she turned to head to the door, swaying from the physical exhaustion of the crying taking it's toll on her.

By the time Tina was done crying, Mike's cheeks were suspiciously wet with tear tracks. He hurriedly wiped at them when Tina pulled away. He had no choice but to let go as she stood and started to walk away. He looked away for a moment, before turning toward her and following after her. He started to reach for her, but aborted the movement before he could touch her. He knew touching her now was not a good idea.

"You can stay here. I'll find somewhere else to stay for the night and we'll get you your own room in the morning," he offered, his own voice rough with emotion he had yet to really let out. He'd find Elliot and tell him to stay clear of their apartment after this and then maybe find Kitty and talk to her about Tina's arrival.

God, that was another conversation he wasn't looking forward to. If Tina owned one part of his heart, then Kitty definitely owned the other. And if it made him this sick to see Tina liked this, he had no desire to go through this again with Kitty. But he would have to eventually because there was no way he could ignore this.

Hearing Mike's footsteps behind her, Tina tensed, prepared to feel his hand on her arm, or taking her hand to stop her. But thankfully that didn't happen. Tina had no desire to be touched at the moment, she just wanted to be left alone. Away from Mike. Because being around him hurt too much.

And then the offer for her to stay there. How could she stay there? It would remind her too much of Mike. She'd see the room where her heart had been torn from her chest and shattered on the floor. But how could she put that into words when she was still struggling to find her voice? So instead, the petite Asian shook her head.

"No, that's okay. I'll find a room now... "
