Kitty gave a light nod. She knew that mike cared. It was obvious that he cared. She'd hurt him. Seeing her kissing Elliot had hurt him and that had been the last thing Kitty would have wanted to do to Mike. "You're right." She told Booth, swallowing. Looking at Booth, Kitty couldn't help but feel bad about the fact that he winced when he said Bela's name.
It was better that Kitty was here rather than anywhere else. If she were sitting at her place alone she probably would have been worse off, at least Booth was trying and helping her feel somewhat better. Her tears had stopped for the most part, which was definitely a plus. "Yeah." Kitty nodded, then looked at Booth, giggling lightly at his comment. "I'd still take any advice you have." She told him and finally picked up the package he nudged closer, looking between it and him.
She wasn't difficult to please, whatever was in it she was sure she was going to love it period. Looking at the hockey stick, Kitty gave a light smile. "Guess she's really good at giving gifts. Must like the holidays a lot." Kitty commented, finding it almost adorable the way he was cradling a hockey stick that way.
"You didn't have to get me anything, but thank you, Booth." Kitty said, carefully tearing into the gift.
