In that moment he almost felt the need to go ahead and hit Mike. But one that would be child abuse, and two it wasn't going to fix anything. It wasn't his fight, he could offer his thoughts, he could deny Mike his gun, but that was about it. Booth's place was cozy. The walls were painted a nice sea foam colored blue and white, it was a barely there color but he liked it. It was calming on his eyes, and after spending most of his days online dealing with complex issues, or FBI issues, he needed colors that would't burn. It was comforting and soothing to look at. He had custom furniture that he'd bought and paid for that involved a modern decor. It was obvious he hadn't decorated himself, it was too stylish. Booth was more of a bare bones type of guy, but if he was going to be there for another year the place needed a personal touch. Something more homey.
Seeley had to think about where to put things in his house thanks to said decorator though. damnit, why did she have to be so hot and talk him into ridiculous things? He should have met her after Buffy. That would have been better. His arms were firmly around her as she tried to calm down, but he wasn't expecting instant miracles. He rarely saw Kitty cry, and when she did he knew things were bad. She was always there for him, she'd put up with his crankiness and his bad mood swings and everythiing, so the least he could do was be there when she needed him.

" Booth wanted to add 'and probably gay' but with half of those Glee kids, save for puck he really couldn't tell either way. Musical theater was not on a list of things that Booth understood. Fantasy Rock camp for millionaires? sure. Who didn't want to be a rock star for a day? Glee? No. What did that lead to?
Booth touched her cheek lightly in attempt to tell her to chin up, and then released her to open up one of his kitchen drawers were a wrapped package with her name on it was hidden. He slid it infront of her and offered a small and curious smile, watching her reaction. Attempting to cheer her up at least a little. "Quit worrying, Kit."
