Who: Kitty and Elliot, then Mike after a bit. What: So, Mike has a twin and Kitty has no clue! Where: The Complex lobby When: Early evening Status: In-Progress
Kitty couldn't believe who was here. Part of her was tempted to let everyone know that there was an arsonist living here, but she figured he wouldn't burn down the place that he was going to be living. He couldn't be that stupid. It bothered her a little bit that he had been calling her her so many names. She'd never done anything bad to him in any way. From the way he acted he had probably deserved to go to jail, but she wasn't going to make that comment. She didn't even want to think about this at all, honestly. She'd much rather find Mike or something. Instead of doing that, just because it reeked of something a boyfriend would do, she decided that she would find something else to do. Kitty didn't know what she and Mike were, but she didn't want to act like his girlfriend. Especially if it wasn't the case.
Assuming that they felt the same was probably bad too. She wanted to assume that he felt the same way, though. Why did this crap have to be so hard? She didn't like thinking about all of this. She wished this were all much easier.
The diminutive mutant did take the time to put Mike's pants in her satchel before she headed out of her apartment. She only did that because she might see him out? Oh, who was she kidding! She probably wouldn't be able to manage the willpower to keep from going to see him later. She liked to spend time with Mike! There was nothing wrong with it. She really enjoyed her time spent with him. She couldn't help but remember the time when she knew they were dating, though. Even miss that time a little bit. Maybe they would get back to that point, either way it was nice to have him around. She definitely cared about him. She was still a coward at times, though. She never initiated the conversation, but he didn't either.
Maybe she should? Then again maybe she shouldn't.
Kitty never really bothered to take the normal way to get anywhere. Instead she walked to the stairway and allowed herself to phase downward until she reached the ground floor where she walked right through the door and headed for the lobby. Reaching up to tuck her hair behind her ears as she reached the lobby, Kitty couldn't help but smile! There he was! That familiar face. "Mike!" She lived her hand in a wave before rushing over toward him. She didn't take into account that....okay there were some differences from normal Mike there.
