He’d gotten it all right, seals, heaven, hell. It was more complicated than Anya would have expected someone to get without the usual annoying flailing and worrying and denying. Sometimes they even cried. That got old very quick. But this guy seemed to be entirely willing to believe it even if he probably still thought she was crazy. He’d gone through it all in his head and figured out that maybe she wasn’t completely barking mad. It was probably for the best otherwise he might do something crazy and get himself hurt. And no one would want that.
“I’m sure you’ll figure the rest out sooner or later but those are the facts, and like I said, the complex is the place to be for figuring all of this out. Least I think so anyway. So hello Connor and welcome to the crazy that is Kansas” she said with a shrug. He would get used to it, she was sure, and for now she’d get him to the complex and introduce him round and everything. It seemed the best plan.
“And you’ll get used to my bluntness. Its the best way to be I think. Why spend time and effort in sugar coating things people need to know anyway. They never really understand it and they don’t find out what they need to anyway do they?” Bluntness was the best thing. And at least some people appreciated if not everyone.
