Who: Kael'thas and Jennifer
When: Noon
Where: Lawrence, Kansas. Specifically, a busy street.
What: Kael arrives. In a dress robe with his giant Phoenix, and is not amused at where he is.
Ratings: PG-13
[[OOC: Kael DEFINITELY does not look human. For one, his eyes glow green, and for another he has incredibly elongated ears. That and he's dressed pretty ridiculously.]]
Kael thought it was quite strange, to clearly be in a human city and not be attacked on sight. The enigma was just as puzzling as how he got here, but the inevitable 'how's and 'why's were buried under tension.
Kael had, once, liked humans. That was centuries ago, far before the time they betrayed his people. The Blood Elf remembered it well, the feeling of frustration as his race suffered and he could only do so much. It wasn't long before that that they left the Alliance, instead siding with the Orcs of the Horde. And things, for a time, had looked better.
Glowing green eyes caught sight of a small child staring at him, looking nervous, and Kael found himself actually stopping, tilting his head to the side and observing the girl. It was the wonderment in her eyes, instead of the glare he would normally get, that led Kael to believe that these humans had never seen anything quite like him before.
Al'ar, his faithful phoenix, was circling over, a flourish of gold and red and flame, while Kael found himself smiling slightly at the little one. She immediately hid behind her wary mother, and Kael's soft smile turned into a frown. Fine.
But why on earth was everyone staring? He was sure, upon finding himself transported to wherever this was, they would perhaps be a little more kinder. Though there was a chance it could be some sort of trick from Kil'jaeden. Had had been pouring over a tome the demon had given him before being transported here.
The Blood Elf held his head high and kept part of his mind fine-tuned to the arcane power he could vaguely sense here. This was a human city, and no doubt aligned with the Alliance. It would only be a matter of time before the guards would notice a Blood Elf, let alone Prince Sunstrider, wandering a busy street at noon, trick or not. He could still cast magic, it seemed, which meant not all was lost.
But nothing explained the odd architecture or the goblin-esque vehicles on the streets... He'd simply have to find a way back after gaining his bearings. He had far better things to do then to prattle around in a different dimension when he could be finding a cure for his doomed and damned race, possibly even bringing down the Lich King himself.
