He really wasn't in the mood to be social, but it didn't look like he had a choice. Lindsey was just helping himself to some conversation Seeley wasn't really interested in actually listening to. But it wasn't causing him actual harm to let the man prattle on about social aspects of friendship. He wasn't feeling friendly was all. So he was mostly quiet, save for reaching for his drink and motioning for another when he downed the whiskey and went for the shot that sat beside it.
"And you actually care? " He raised a skeptical eyebrow and rolled his eyes. His drink was gone in less then a snap. Booth wasn't the type to disclose his problems to damn near a stranger though. Had it been Eliot he might have actually been more willing, but considering it was Eliot's dopple it was just weird.
"I got the chair. There aren't many agents that have more pull there then me. Except my boss and his boss. " He explained dryly and looked down at the new glass of whiskey that was placed in front of him. Picking it up, he swirled the liquor around in it lightly and watched the deeply colored liquor with a small frown. "Ever kill a man and not think twice?" He asked out of the blue seemingly. Not really wanting to go into the whole thing with Buffy, and his Not-Angel-complex.
