He was quiet and uncomfortable. It looked like that would be the case for a while though. Despite being in Lavander's presence he didn't find himself more willing to talk then before, infact it was the opposite. He really didn't want to discuss it at all. They'd seen the future, and it'd traumatized him. Plain and simple really.
"I miss when war was the worst thing." The expression he gave her was one of a broken man. One who'd seen the edge of despair and didn't know how to get back to the light. When she offered him the little orange bottle and tiny pill, he raised an eyebrow. "What is that?" He knew the answer, but he just wanted it confirmed as he took it and looked it over carefully. It wasn't that he was suspecting she'd drug him, but really. He had to be careful with drugs thanks to his medical condition. It was a little depressing at times to be honest, he had to be more careful then most when it came to taking things.
"I'd rather be in Afghanistan right now. At least there I had half a clue what I was doing. There were orders, you know?" When the bar tender came with his scotch, he also flagged for a water and it was dropped down lightly infront of him. But he didn't pick it up right away. Seeley was exhausted, and likely wouldn't sleep if he didn't take the valium, but he was being careful. Part of him didn't even understand why.
