Kitty had made plans to do scavenging today. She figured that it would all go great, it would give her a little time away from the camp and it would also give her the chance to try and find some things she needed. Comics were on her list too, thanks to Booth. She figured it wouldn't be too difficult to find some! Kitty was still somewhat optimistic about things like this. She was pretty positive that she could find whatever she set her mind to finding. Before she'd left the camp she'd finished a watch and made sure that her gun was loaded and ready to use if she had to. The diminutive girl wasn't a horrible shot at all. In fact, she was a pretty good shot even though guns weren't her thing in general. Kitty preferred combat that was up close and personal. It was easier to disarm a person that way, she wasn't the kind of girl that wanted to kill others. Croats were a whole different thing, though. Zombies were once people, just not anymore. Kitty couldn't get up close and personal with a zombie because that was dangerous.
If there could be anything said about Katherine Pryde it was definitely that she was intelligent. She wasn't stupid, she was positive that there would be no issues when she set out. Kitty had everything she needed, she'd traveled away from the camp where all of her friends were, but she knew she'd be back soon. It was almost like a breath of fresh air, except it was dangerous. It was time alone that she was using wisely, though. She found several Green Lantern Comics for Booth, as well as quite a few of the items she needed. Kitty also picked up a few other things, they were nestled in the backpack that was on her back. It was definitely a good haul and had been a fairly calm day, surprisingly enough. The diminutive mutant had gotten quite a way from her camp.
Doe brown eyes peered around cautiously as Kitty walked. Her hair was pulled up and out of the way and she was walking through anything that was in her way rather than bothering with anything else. Kitty had grown more in tune with her mutation, she automatically phased at certain sounds. She didn't feel too worried about anything. Kitty's foot scuffed against the ground, making a noise. Pausing in silence, Kitty listened, wanting to be sure that she hadn't alerted anything to her presence.
