Clark was unhappy. He had spent days with Lois. She was living close to him, they talked frequently. He was supposed to know her better than anyone else in the world. How had she managed to get possessed right under his nose without him noticing? What kind of friend was if he couldn't determine when something was wrong with someone he claimed to be close with?
Anxiously, Clark darted out to the motel. A red and blue blur was all that was seen of him as he sped along, desperately searching for the thing that was possessing Lois. More questions attacked his mind as he searched. How long had she been taken? Why Lois? Was Lois even okay?
No one at the motel. If Clark actually had it in him to curse, he would have been swearing up and down at this point. He chose to keep moving instead, decidedly heading in the same direction Kara had instructed. Several seconds later, he was winding his way through the city streets, easily whizzing by cars and people alike in the blink of an eye. Feet coming to a halt, Clark suddenly lurched still at the edge of a curb and squinted out through the dark. A few people here and there. Shops closing up. A dark haired girl darting into an alley - whoa, wait.
Lois.
Looking determined, Clark made a beeline for the alley, jumping into sight just as 'Lois' peeked around the corner of the alleyway. Before she was able to react, he stepped in front of her, folded his arms across his chest, and glared.
