Seeley liked comics. It was an excuse to get out of his head for a good twenty minutes and pretend to be someplace better. Some place where the good guys always won. It was a thing that could never fail to de-stress him. Sometimes it was hard to read the Superman ones because Clark had long since disappeared after they lost, but he had to remind himself of that not everything was bad. They did that. They were part of his past that remained and wasn't likely to die out any time soon. Super heroes were American and Booth loved his country. He fought and killed for his government, so American made items had a special place in his heart.
Touching her skin even after all this time made Booth forget everything outside their cozy cabin type living quarters. The only thing that existed was them iin that moment, and that was exactly what he needed. A break from it all. Leading wasn't fun. It was a job, and one he had to take seriously for everyone he cared about to survive. It was emotionally draining. He was in desperate need of a recharge, and finally getting some alone time with his girlfriend despite the dull throbbing sensation in his temples, was exactly what he needed.
"Get out of Bizzaro world? You're Superman and get very very lucky. " His interest in the comics was quickly fading the more he touched her, and had real physical contact for the first time in what seemed like ages. He drew her in a little closer and gave her that puppy look he'd virtually mastered. "Speaking of lucky.." His fingertips trailed along her back.
