"I'm tired of being alone." Booth stated simply. It wasn't a comment meant to start a fight, or anymore fights. it was an attempt to stop them in their tracks as he got a little more comfortable sitting up. The look in his eyes was almost physically painful. He'd done nothing but try with her, but his deal made things too difficult and he was almost ready to quit. He was miserable. Even when she was there with him, it didn't feel like she was there at all half the time.
It felt like he was alone, and Seeley just couldn't take much more of that, so finally when she sat down so quietly and touched his hand, he didn't hesitate. He wrapped his hand lightly with hers and released a breath he was unaware that he'd been holding back all this time. Things between them had been so tense lately, he wondered if he was the right person for her after all. He wondered if she really did love him, or if they would ever be able to have a normal relationship.
He wanted to be with her, he really did. He just didn't know what else to do at this point. "All we do is fight." He stated after a while, letting the calm quietness wash over them. Finally he looked up and looked up and over at her with a small sigh.
