"I do, but they don't need to know that." He wasn't lazy by any stretch but taking orders and having to deal with some of the people that inhabited those camps on a daily basis would have made him crazy years ago. "You know I would. That's one of the few areas we share a similar opinion in." That and he wasn't about to throw his alliance to one side or the other. If Lucifer won, he didn't want anything on his record outside of a business relationship with the camps.
The subject of family was a sore one for the both of them. The words had left his mouth before he'd thought about it. He knew she had her battle wounds in that area as much as he did, contributing to how screwed up they were when it came to trust and faith in other people. That discussion was off limits, never one he wanted to have. Not that either of them were into that touchy feely crap anyway.
"Of course it was," he said, the polite tone of his voice bearing an undercurrent of mocking. They scored their little hits from time to time. Nothing worth keeping track of but a moment to enjoy nonetheless. In a day or two, it'd be forgotten like every other time. It was nothing that mattered.
After a moment of silence, he spoke up, curiosity getting the better of him. "What do you think about these dead coming back to life?"
