He'd saved her from the thing, the thing that had once been human. It had grabbed for her and he'd shot it. It was definitely a start and clearly she'd picked the right person. "Thank you" she told him, watching him walk toward her thoughtfully. He wasn't exactly what she'd come to expect from this place which was what had set her to thinking he was someone different, someone out of place here. But he looked like he'd do well in a fight and had just proved it. The arrogance put her a little in mind of Jack if she was honest with herself. But she didn't want to shoot him, not yet anyway. She would if he had to, or if he slowed her down, but she hoped that wasn't likely to happen.
"A few ideas, things I've heard people say, good and bad places to go. If you're willing to shoot more things in in my defence then this could be a well suited little partnership. "I'm Suzie Costello" she told him in answer to the question, still looking around warily. These zombies were dangerous and one had nearly grabbed her just now.
"If we head east from here we should find the Winchesters camp. They're the somewhat suspicious lot really but if anyone knows whats going on it'll be them." she reasoned as she took the offered hand. Almost chivilrous of him really. It was a risk trusting someone like this, she knew that. But what other alternative had she in this crazy hell world. She hadn't even liked Lawrence that much and now there were posts on that new network implying she had been killed in this future and that was why she didn't remember.
"Think you could steal us a car?" she asked expecting only one answer. "It'll make the journey quicker, safer too." That and she was curious to see if he could do it. Or had any moral obligation to such things. She'd found in this world morals had long since gone by the wayside.
