What: Arrival In Lawrence
When: Evening
Where: Blackout, a club on the outskirts of Cleveland
Rating: TBD
Status: Incomplete
The club was dark, smoky, crowded…just the way Faith liked. She could lose herself here, away from the accusing eyes, the sideways glances. They could all say she was forgiven, that she was one of them but she knew she never would be. Never be accepted. Here though, here she could be.
She moved through the crowds, heading for the bar, the bottle of scotch she had her eyes glued to a far more appealing prospect than trudging around in the rain on patrol. Armed with her drink, she leaned against the bar, eyes scanning the club for...well, anything really. Trouble. Cute guy to keep her amused for the night. She’d just spotted one that might do when she was suddenly pulled away from the bar and found herself slammed none too gently against a nearby wall.
“What the f…”
Her words were cut off by a hard slap to the face, delivered by the girl holding her against the wall. “Slut! Keep your eyes off my guy. Think I didn’t see you checking him out?”
Faith pushed her back and looked her up and down with a smirk firmly plastered onto her face. “Yeah well, looking at you, I can see why he was checking me out right back.” She could have done without this but as usual, wasn’t going to walk away from someone who needed smacked down good and hard. The arrival of a huge guy, obviously a bouncer, delayed the smacking and Faith was quite happy with his suggestion that they take this outside. She stalked through the door that she knew would take her into an alley behind the club…
The alley wasn’t there. Instead she found herself on a busy, shop-lined street. Blinking in surprise, she looked wildly round herself but there was nothing, and no-one, she recognised.
“Curse of the Hellmouth strikes again!” Fighting panic, a feeling she wasn’t used to, she began to walk down the street, looking for anything that could help her out of this.
