Who: Rachel Berry about to get caught by BAMF Kurt Where: Just outside of Kurt’s camp When: Late morning of the End plot What: Rachel has just woken up in a world she is definitely not familiar with. Warnings: None
Slowly, Rachel woke up. It took her a second to realize that her comfortable mattress had been replaced by a hard slab of concrete. Her heavy eyelids lifted and once she got a good look at her surroundings she let out a tiny gasp of surprise. This was not her room at the apartment complex. She was in some kind of chaotic scenario. Rachel scrambled to her feet and ran to hide in a crevice that looked like it used to be an alleyway in Lawrence.
The air smelled foul, like a combination of death and something burning. Something was wrong. This wasn’t the Lawrence she had become used to over her few weeks spent at the complex with the others who had been brought over from various worlds. More than ever it was looking like the kind of apocalypse portrayed in futuristic movies.
Rachel wanted to get her notebook computer out and ask, on the comm, what in the world was happening, but she found herself without the device.
Trying to be as inconspicuous as she could in her ridiculous teddy bear sweater, Rachel crept around corners and hid behind large objects. Something told her that there were plenty of things lurking about that could bring about her death. She didn’t particularly want to die just yet.
