Sam had been pretty damn smug himself, right up until the bowl of grapes soared right off the top of the fridge and into Ruby's outstretched hands. Almost instantly, an exasperated look spread across his face, causing Sam to do a very literal facepalm. "You cheated," he groaned, shaking his head in displeasure. But then, at the same time...
"You wouldn't have been able to get the bowl if you hadn't used your powers," Sam pointed out, pushing away from the fridge. He walked over to where she sat, dipping a hand into the bowl to retrieve a few grapes for himself. "Therefore, I was right. You're tiny. And now that you've gone and made with the obvious cheating, even you can't deny it." Sam gave Ruby a pat on the shoulder. "I win, Ruby. And yeah." He pushed a few of the grapes into his mouth and grinned. "It does taste like victory." Ruby couldn't out logic him on this one. He was confident of that. She may have had her powers, but she was still very tiny in that body. So unless she went off and possessed something taller - which she wasn't going to do, because (a) it'd be weird, (b) Sam liked her current body and was very much used to it, and (c) it'd be really friggin' weird. She was just gonna have to settle for being a tiny, pocket demon for the rest of her life.
"Nice try, though," Sam said, leaning against the table. "I'd give you credit for trying, but then, hey, you cheated." Sam looked over at her with a raise of his brows. "Cheater. You tiny, little cheater." If she wasn't going to admit to being tiny, Sam was just going to have to stick to calling her that for the rest of the night. Heck, he might well replace her name with the word tiny altogether. Yes, Tiny. What's that, Tiny, dear? Tiny. Sam got the feeling she wouldn't appreciate that all too much. It would only make sense that she stop the madness before it began.
