Remy looked up to the source of the voice looking a bit tired at first, but upon seeing a friendly (and pretty) face his expression brightened up considerably. He nudged a chair away from the table with his foot and gestured for Lavender to join him.
“Be my guest, chere.” Remy stood up and made his way back to the counter. He grabbed another glass, one that was similar to his, and set it on the table. Slouching, he resumed his sitting position and poured her a drink.
“Havin’ a rough day?” He gave her a sympathetic smile of sorts. He knew all about bad days.
