WHO: Buffy Summers and OTA
WHEN: June 3, 2010 ; around midnight
WHERE: Oak Hill Cemetery
WHAT: What she does best (sort of), patrolling.
STATUS: Incomplete
RATING: TBA

Buffy needed to get out of the Complex. She didn't care if there were security rules about minors going out unescorted or whatever, she was the Slayer, so she was going to go out and do what she did best - slay. At least she hoped there would be some slaying, she wasn't sure what the vampire to human ration was in Lawrence (asides from Spike, Damon and Caroline). Not that it mattered, because right now she was walking through a dark and badly lit cemetery, ready to kick someone - or something.

She wished she was back home. She was still coming to grips with the fact that there had been another her, and that all her friends were older than her. That apparently she had had some sort of relationship with Spike, and that she had a sister. She was trying though, really she was.

She didn't want to become one of those girls who brooded and cried and sat in her room all day hugging her pillow and eating Ben and Jerry's. She had contemplated retiring, after all Faith was here, so was Vi. There also seemed to be a lot of other people, who knew about fighting the supernatural. It would be so easy to hang up the stake, and go back to live a normal life.

But what was normal? Buffy didn't do normal - not anymore. She didn't even think she'd know normal if it kicked her in the face. She wouldn't know what to do with herself, if she retired. A lot of the things that mattered to her before, simply didn't matter now. Sure, she liked cloths and shoes - but it wasn't like she could make a living off of shopping.

Buffy stopped walking. There was someone else in the graveyard.

"You know," Buffy said. "Stalking isn't a real turn on for girls," she turned. "Didn't your mother ever teach you that?"
