Caroline was nervous. This was her first time seeing Bonnie since, she had gotten the ring. She was terrified to think that her friend hated her for being a vampire. What if Bonnie had heard about what happened to Matt? Oh God! Caroline took deep breaths as she walked, even though she didn't need to anymore. It was a comfort thing, the more she breathed, the more normal she felt.

She walked from Jacen's place to the Starbucks. She was still grateful that Jacen was letting her stay with him. Even though Damon was gone from the complex, Caroline wasn't to sure about going back. Though now that Bonnie was here...maybe?

She pushed those thoughts to the back of her mind. What mattered right now, was being there for Bonnie and explaining things to her - at least the best Caroline could, since she was still confused. Most importantly making sure Bonnie was safe and stayed safe, everything else they could figure out later.

Caroline froze slightly when she saw Bonnie. Then all the worry about Bonnie hating her was gone, because Caroline had missed her. Caroline had missed Bonnie so much it hurt, even more so when she arrived in Kansas.

"Bonnie!" Caroline called out, and then without so much as a second thought she threw her arms around the other girl in a hug.
