"Of course, Mare." He didn't mind keeping up the pretense for now. He lightly pressed a kiss to her cheek in return, inwardly smirking. If only the Winchester knew who their precious Mary was hugging at the moment. He drew the blond woman into the apartment and motioned for her to sit at the table, where the donuts were. At the sudden accusation, 'Samuel' put his hands up in innocent defense.
"Would you have ever listened to us? You barely wanted to be in the life as it was, it was hard sometimes just to tell you stories." The words were softened with a smile so that she wouldn't think he was trying to start an argument, though that would have been fun as well. However, such a move was worthy more of a lesser demon, like Ruby, rather than him. "We did it because we knew we were keeping you safe, Mary. That got us through it, each night." He reached out and lay a hand on her shoulder, patting it lightly. Seeing how fast she was drinking the coffee, he moved towards the counter and picked up the pot, moving back to her to refill her cup.
"Easy there, girl. Too much caffeine can have the same effect as too little." But he smirked inwardly, because he knew that very soon she would begin to grow sleepy, and then she wouldn't be able to move...oh, she wouldn't actually be asleep. Mary would be able to see and hear and feel everything he did to her.
