Parker had never actually owned a car before. She had stolen plenty over the years, but never got to keep any of them for fear of getting caught. She decided not to tell this amusing story. As fun as people seemed to think handcuffs could be, Parker did not want to get arrested for bringing her job into the conversation. She was getting better and better at filtering conversational topics being around Booth, that was for sure.
“Yeah!” She burst out with a big smile on her face. “Oh, yeah, you always look nice. Even in suits!” A lot of people liked it when guys washed up and put on nice clothes. Parker’s preference was just the opposite, though she suspected that she’d think Booth looked good in anything. He was just one of those consistently attractive guys.
Parker let out a partially stifled laugh at Booth. His imitation of Eliot’s expression of choice was dead on. She often thought of it as her duty to crack a joke at Eliot’s expense every now and then. He was like a brother to her. Wasn’t being annoying part of being a sister?
“That’s exactly how he gets!” Shaking her head, she sighed and let the laughter die down.
“Anywhere?” She asked regarding his parking privileges. Her eyebrows raised slightly. That was unfair, she thought. She was a little bit jealous.
