"Have you met me?" Zachariah flashed Dean a wide, crooked grin. "I'm never wrong. You are Michael's sword. He needs you, Dean. There's no one else in the world that he can do this with." Zachariah turned his gaze to the Impala surroundings, calmly examining the vehicle that Dean so dearly adored. He didn't see what was so special about it. Just a hunk of metal. Not even a new hunk of metal, at that. Humans worshiped the most ridiculous things sometimes. "So here's the deal, kid. You're gonna say yes to Michael. He's going to come down from Heaven, find our stubbornly rebellious brother, and deal with this mess before it gets out of control. Because, trust me, Dean, you don't want to see what will become of this world if Lucifer wins this war." He was kind of slow on the uptake, wasn't he? Zachariah didn't understand why he was whining on about not not having anything to do with ending the apocalypse. He was Michael's chosen vessel. There was no one else out there that could do the job as effectively. To think that Dean Winchester had a chance at stopping the end from falling upon them all and was sitting there looking at him like someone with a serious mental deficiency made Zachariah wonder why Michael had chosen him, of all people.
"What do you say, Dean?" Zachariah tilted his head to the side, looking all too confident for someone who was vaguely requesting that Dean hand his mind, body, and soul over to an archangel for battle. "Shall I call Michael down? Are you willing to accept your fate and help save the world?" It was the only way. This had been destined to happen for a very, very long time and Zachariah, being the fantastic employee that he was, was going to be the one to ensure that it happened. He already had a very well-known name up in Heaven for all his accomplishments. But this? Oh, it would take the cake. Someone out there, God or not, was going to be extremely pleased with him once Michael took hold of his vessel.
Zachariah was the best. He was going to be recognized as such and he looked forward to the moment in which that happened, just as any loyal, dedicated, hard-working being would when adding such a powerful contribution to the overall picture. His brothers would be pleased, once he got Dean on board. From the looks of him, Zachariah knew that he was going to be a handful. But he also knew that the man had a thousand vulnerabilities. All he had to do was find the right one, should he dare protest.
