Caroline closed her eyes, she didn't want to see Matt walk through that door. It was over. He had finally told her he loved her and she had screwed everything up by being a stupid vampire. They both were lucky Stefan had shown up when he did - otherwise...Caroline didn't want to think about it. She didn't want to think about what Matt's blood tasted like, because it had been good, really good. Better than the nurse's, better than the guy at the carnival's and so much better than the bagged stuff and bunnies Stefan had her hunting.
She opened her eyes. He was gone. Taking a deep breath (even though she really didn't need to), she got up and headed out of the Grill. She took a few steps outside and then stopped...frozen, where was she? She whirled around, nothing was familiar - the Grill wasn't even there! Was this...
Caroline was scared. More scared then when she first saw the dark veins appear on her face and the fangs extend. But she kept walking - what else could she do? Was Katherine behind this? Was Damon? Damon was capable of a lot, Caroline knew that better than a lot of people (asides from maybe Stefan though he wasn't a person...then again, neither was she)? But how could he have moved her? He couldn't do mind tricks like this, even if he could he couldn't do them on her.
Oh God, oh God, oh God. Was this some sort of vampire hell?
"Hello?" Caroline called out tentatively.
At least now she could defend herself. She was strong and she knew it. If this was some sort of trap, she wasn't going to go down without a fight.
