Flying over the city, it didn't seem so bad. It looked normal. Nothing wrong. Almost a picturesque city. But there really was no such thing. Every city had its problems, be it crime, poverty, illness. And while from the sky things didn't seem so bad? It was all still there. The nice scene just an illusion. But one that - while he was up here - Richie decided he would enjoy.
The address that Virgil had given him was for an abandoned set of apartments that looked like they could have seen better days. It intrigued him. Their last hideout had been an abandoned gas station, but now? Virgil was older while Richie stayed the same. No that wasn't true. He was growing every day. It was the way of the world, but there were now years between them and he had to wait to get older. Richie flew in closer to get a better look at the building. It looked sturdy, which was a plus. The gas station had always looked like it was going to fall down... And sometimes it made him nervous.
He found an entry way and set himself down. It was dark inside. "Hello?" he called looking around. "Virgil? Are you here?"
